What do people suggest me doing with my 11 pro max it was cased etc but dropped it and slight damage to corner I’m thinking eBay spares or repair 99p start and see what a happens View attachment 976850
Is the damage limited to the corner. Unfortunately your photo isn’t as clear as it might be. Is the phone in full working order apart from a chip in the bottom left hand corner of the screen?

Just had a check and the 11 Pro Max 64GB in is still worth £510 (good condition) or £459 (poor condition) on Music Magpie. That's decent money - so personally I would shell out for the repair to that corner, take the £ loss, but then you can sell on for a much better price. Probably best option than selling as is now with the physical damage.

Only thing is it could be a more tricky repair given its the edge and not a straightforward screen replacement etc. Good luck with it!

Personally I'm more concerned I might lose the business I've built up from nothing to a pre CoVid success over the last 10 years.
You have my sympathy. The health of the nation and the economy are far more important than ALL the things that we discuss. This forum is simply a welcome distraction from the problems we face.

In that case there is no point selling it for parts / spares. Sell it on eBay by auction for 7 days starting at 99p with no reserve. There's nothing like auction fever to get the bids rolling in and you'd be amazed how much people will pay for a cosmetically damaged iPhone.

What you must do though is to describe the damage in as much detail as you can and post clear photos of it so that potential buyers know exactly where they stand.

Wishing you the best of luck!

You’re probably right. There was one year where the white models were delayed by a few months. I think they had trouble with the white plastic in pre production models which was going off colour.

Can confirm, 3G and 3GS were both available at launch in white! There was a delay with the 4 as they had issues with the white coating on the glass. The designer phone was probably an LG Prada. I worked in the industry around this time, was good fun!

You’re wrong, but I’m tired of having to explain these things to people who choose not to believe the science.
No I’m not wrong the science contradicts all the time, we just gotta live with this

Not sure why people are so rude on here, I made a suggestion and he replied that he is doing the upgrade thing. Which is fair enough. So yes I was lacking all of the knowledge, but I was only trying to help.
I said you were ignorant - that’s not rude or a bad thing, you hadn’t considered the fact that iUP exists.

And, if I might add, your tone was also pretty sharp to him.

Finally got to John Lewis for a hands on with all 4 12 Pro colours. Apple have done such a stellar job this year with all 4, can't go wrong with any of them!

Originally was going Pacific blue as it's the new blue in town but, after seeing Gold, Graphite & Silver in person, they're all stunning.

This year decision is to go for the Pro Max with a colour that surprised me the most in the line up - Gold. That gold on the sides is a proper gold, it just pops and the back is subtle, not in your face & looks really premium and cool.

At home I go caseless, given present climate that now looks more likely than ever. But out it's a case, so reckon the gold with saddle brown leather would look like a beast in max form!

Also, not bought into gold since the iPhone 5S and since I met Francis recently lol it seems a fitting tribute this year!

Now I have never a fan of Apple's gold coloured products, the worst of which in my opinion was the 2020 MacBook Air which I'm afraid I found really unappealing. Having said I agree with what you say about the gold 12 Pro. It's stunning!
