Ah OK, thanks. Do I presume that means theres no option to get it delivered to somewhere other than your billing address? I usually get things delivered to my work, but obviously I had to put my home address in the Barclays pre-authorisation bit

P.S. Appreciate the help thanks 🙌
In the past when I bought a macbook on Barclays Finance it could only be delivered to home address - sure they said it was for fraud prevention.

I plan on getting the iPhone 12 Pro Max but to test if Apple Stores in the UK will be open during the impending lockdown I have just done a dry run upgrade for an iPhone 12 Pro 512 GB in Graphite and was shown the below.

Apple Highcross still shows as open during the lockdown but with “special opening hours” and phone arrives by 26th Nov.

Still some hope yet? 🤞🏼

Stores could be open for click and collect - but no confirmation on that as of yet

I can't believe Apple don't offer a trade in for the SE2020. I currently have the SE and will be going to the 12 Pro Max, was hoping they would at least make an offer.

You might be better off going to somewhere like Rebuy or Music Magpie - even selling privately can be more beneficial.

Yes I thought I'd heard this before, thanks. Not a major issue, my wife's working from home at the moment luckily.

I can't see that option anymore, hope they will be able to do click & collect for IUP

...ALL stores will close - they are non essential so by law they have no choice.

Click and collect will still be allowed - BJ himself said it. So maybe Apple don't do that - I don't know but it's an option.

I can’t see them being allowed to do click and collect, I would be pretty sure click and collect is meant for essential items.
Non-essentials can also keep their store open for click & collect according to gov.uk
"Non-essential retail can remain open for delivery to customers and click-and-collect." Question is whether they can do IUP upgrades part of click & collect.

click and collect is being allowed for people buying the new games consoles. i cant see how this would be different. the main issue would be whether we have to do the barclays credit agreement in store, at which point then you are stretching the click and collect terminology too far. if they can get all the instore bit done online and simply pick up the phone instore - we may be ok.

I’m wanting to preorder a pacific blue pro max. The 128GB would be fine for me, however I’m wondering if going for the 256GB might make it easier to get one for launch? Would the 128 be most popular?

most likely as the cheapest option. i expect the demand for Pacific Blue 128gb will be the highest. But I am assuming Apple know this and stock those more so 🤷‍♂️

Same, did this last night, so very easy.

Bit miffed that if you change your mind on the colour, you have to reapply, which is another credit check I assume?

I pre ordered a pro 128 and was approved. When you load up the store it will present you with your initial selection. There is a button to change colour. It’s dead easy.

I would never normally consider the gold but it looks stunning but I always use a case so it might as well be ****** brown really 😉

Is that on the IUP? Or buying outright?

If you find out anything specific to the Highcross store, would be great if you could let us know (and tag me?).
