Am I right in assuming that we can’t have a new poll so that we can all indicate which colour 12 Pro Max we’re hoping to get? Or perhaps extend the existing one?

The washer is our only casualty so far, but I’ve put a towel down and hoping it lasts till January 😂
So do you then have to update the new iphone to 14.2 first, before it will allow you to grab the backup of the old phone?
True, though very relevant to point out that any 14.1 devices won't accept a 14.2 backup until updated
That's the combo I'm thinking. I don't need the 256Gb, 128 would do but I'm thinking most of the orders will be for the 128 so the 256 would have more availablity
But I think I'm right in saying you can do it the other way around? Keep your current phone on 14.1 and then whatever the new ones come with you'll be fine?

Same, 128 would be sufficient but my current device is 256. I also like to shoot all my videos at the highest resolution without worrying about storage.

I doubt it. I've seen this scenario many times. they are probably packed prior to this release today. In any case, once updated as a new install to 14.2, then would you do a master reset and update the old phone over that way?
