My XS Max is 256Gb. I'm not using much of it but better to have loads of space than run short
I'm going to keep my XS Max on 14.1 for the reasons stated above. However I'm also planning on setting up as a new phone anyway rather than restoring so it's only if I change my mind.
Yeah of course, though the temptation to upgrade current devices to 14.2 will be too strong for many (me included) lol!
Anyone had experience trading phone into carphone warehouse? They are offering £575 for the iPhone 11 pro max 64GB

You’ll get more selling your phone privately and then settling the finance with Barclays yourself.
Only experience we had was trying to trade in the missus' iPhone 7 and them telling her that they couldn't accept it because supposedly it had a void warranty because of a third party screen being installed.
Obviously this wasn't the case but because their system told them it was they couldn't take it (unless they paid the 'broken' price).
I like the silver but its the white I'm not a fan of.
So if i buy the iphone 12 pro max on finance for 24 months - with apple care - and then trade it in at 12 months for the next iphone will i be able to pay off the loan and get a refund on 12 months of applecare? Tempted to just go monthly payments just to save my bank account
Does the dpd driver package the phone well when they come to collect? Did you just hand over the phone unpackaged?
Ok, so what i have been told by apple executive relations is the following:
- Apply for the iPhone payments as normal through the Apple Store app.
- During this period you will have 2 iPhone’s (IUP and Apple Payments)
- Anytime after the 16th Nov you can visit an Apple Store to return your IUP (preferably after your Apple Payments iPhone has arrived)
- It’s at this point when dropping off your iPhone that Apple will close your IUP and settle the balance for you (as they would if you did an upgrade)
- You then carry on with your iPhone Payments plan as normal
Executive relations explicitly told me that after the 16th you can only visit the Apple Store to return you IUP iPhone and settle. They will not be allowing upgrades or new IUP plans to be started.
The rationale for this is due to this counting as the company acting and selling goods rather than offering a click and collect or drop off service - which would be in breach of the non essential retail being allowed to offer click and collect services only.
Makes sense as Game started asking customers to visit their stores and make pre-payment before lockdown started today - as they would not have been able to take payment after this date.

Just seen that my XS Max has gone from £380 to £385. However I locked a price in the other day for £380 plus £20 with the code that's now discontinued. I'm still better off at the moment but I'll keep watching their prices
Still can’t decide between gold and blue, I’ve got a gold XS Max now so I’d like a change but I’m worried the blue is too dark (and I don’t particularly like the sides) 😩
Im gonna go for the pacific blue again, having seen it on the 12 pro its so nice
Having had the 12 pro in pacific blue the back is not dark and is a really nice finish, the sides are stainless steel and slightly darker but overall I think it looks really good
So you will then be on the Apple payments plan and not the IUP with the new phone. I am never going to just hand my phone back in to apple. I will always sell it first whilst on IUP or apple payments. You can lose so much money otherwise.
