My order history disappeared for Apple Store. No email confirmation or pending transaction showing on my bank account for an order placed earlier. Is there an on going issue with Apple Store ?

It is glitchy because of the amount of orders Apple is processing - should be back to normal later on this evening.

Quick heads up for anyone who upgraded online with EE. I called them up to ask about what would happen with my e-sim (separate matter, got sorted) turns out EE hadn’t physically processed my order so while she was sorting out my sim she also processed my order. Might be worth checking with them

Bought the iPhone 12 mini in Green (64 GB) for my mum. Managed to get my order in place by 13:05 and everything went through. Paid in full with Apple Pay.

Apple hasn't taken payment, just got a notification from the Apple Store app saying the payment couldn't be processed (about 16:15). Went onto the app and the order is still 'processing'. There's nowhere I can go to check the bank information. No text from my bank to say the payment's been blocked or anything.

It did this exact same thing when I paid in full for my iPhone 12 last month - said the payment had been rejected. Only that time when I went into the app it said 'Order on Hold' and I re-input my bank details and the payment went through. This time I can't do anything and my order is still 'Processing'. So frustrating that this has happened twice now when paying with Apple Pay!

I spoke to EE and said I need a new e sim to put in my new phone but don’t want my data cut off, they have sent me what’s called an inactive sim and I can activate it when it arrives

Same situation I'm in. There's nothing in the app stating there's an issue. I'm on hold to the bank now to clear the payment, then I'll go call Apple and get them to try it again.

Apple store is glitchy, especially web which shows no delivery date, and no historical orders at the moment.

Interesting situation - 3 hours after pre-order, apple requested their money (HSBC "notification" letting me know). 3 minutes later, I received a phishing text for HSBC about an unknown payment (definitely fake).
Bearing in mind the only "notification" of the real apple payment was the HSBC app notification (no new email / apple store update / etc in 3 hours), do you think this is coincidence, or something somewhere is able to track me? (worrying)

I had the same problem a few days ago with apple pay but it was for an uber ride, maybe you used apple pay too much and the bank wants to check its still you using the card

SO I decided to buy a case for the phone in preparation, again using Apple Pay. Failed.
Tried again, failed.
Checked and details and all look fine, so I call up Halifax (used my debit card for both phone and case, went through for phone) and they can see that the transaction declined for both the phone and the 2 attempts at the case. Said it could be to do with something like CVV although I have used it in the past with no issues and no new card issued since.
Get an email from Apple to say the payment wasn't processed and to update my details within the next 7 days or the order would be cancelled.
So I just removed my debit card from AP and used another one. Apple Pay fine then for the case.

It said in the email from Apple to update payment details on the order summary, although I can't at the moment due to full details not being available and to try again in a few hours. Wondering if just updating the primary payment in Apple Pay will be enough or if I need to change card details for the specific order.

After I was thinking all was nice and smooth as well! 😂😂

Spoke to Apple, well, still on hold, but spoke to someone who advised me she would pass me through to sales, spoke to someone I sales who said all looks ok from her side but is now passing me to after-sales - no idea what is going on.

3 hours later after having my loan accepted by barclays....and my order is still saying ‘on hold’ in my orders on the Apple app. Anyone have any idea what is going on here?
