I've been on 29 mins so far. Guess I've a bit more holding to do.. 😢
I spoke to one dept, she sounded Asian, passed me through to sales who was broad Manchester, she passed me to sales again (in error) spoke to a guy who sounded Spanish he then passed me to Ellie who sounded Australian. She was very happy, congratulated me and everything said she hoped she made me day.

I've just spoken to the first adviser who has put me on hold for the correct dept. Fingers crossed when they answer the phone they can actually take a payment.

I have both for the 12 pro. One is very flexible, the other has a hard back and came in a set with 2 screen protectors. The hard back one is a better fit and good value with the screen protectors.
perfect, just ordered thanks!

amazon conveniently gave me a 30 day free prime trial now too. I cancelled my prime only 2 months ago

Was this for Apple?

Everyone chill out with the payment thing.

Basically when the orders go live the Apple store goes into a limited mode. You can’t see your previous orders or make changes to orders. I assume this is to make the store more reliable for the spike in demand.

However this year the orders have been changing to preparing for shipment far earlier - which means your card gets charged. Days pass before this happens on normal years. Cards getting charged = cards getting declined.

However, they are charging cards before the store is back to full functionality.

So wait for the store to come fully live and then it will say you need to update payment info and you can do that without calling.

The plus side of this system is that it means you can get your payment declined but still have your place in line, so long as you get it sorted in a day or so.

Which is why we like Apple.

It’s not even that simple. You have to call the bank first and then get Apple to approve it.

Your post sounds like it should be simple. But reality is that it’s not.

payment already taken for me. Which is a little annoying as I'm probably cancelling in favour of my amazon order for the longer return period. Just waiting for the app to let me cancel..

It is simple when you have a bank that lets you confirm payments by text or app.

I have a 20% code to use on EE, it works with everything else but the 12 pro Max!

Anyone else have this problem?

Anyway...

Sounds good but the error with barclays loans not going through made me miss launch day delivery as their website just kept erroring. Also tried calling that number and it just didnt work at 1pm. Really annoying, doubt if i call they could do anything

Sounds a good reason why my ApplePay transactions were failing, not great however and it did go through with another card I added to AP.

I once returned an apple item which I opened to amazon. They accepted it and refunded me but sent me a "warning" email saying that for the future they expect to receive returns in the same condition they were sent (i.e. not opened and used lol)
Could you share the full text from this email please?
Interesting. I am very wary of overdoing amazon returns. Especially high value items. They can and do block accounts for this

Looks like I have the same NatWest Apple Pay issue as someone has already mentioned here. Tried via the online chat to amend payment details, but they just pointed me to the phone number route. Only 4mins into that process, so guess I have a long way to go by the sounds of it. sure I could probably wait til tomorrow or later and sort it, but really don’t want the order to slip, so will wait on hold as long as I have to.
