Not too sure, I’ve used the Apple leather cases for years. Compared to my 8 plus leather case it does feel different but that’s because it hasn’t had 2+ years of use.
Hmm thanks. I’ll get one for my boyfriend. I’ll stick to my silicone one and my otterbox one ☺️☺️

Word of caution on getting EE to do the order prior to launch time. I had to phone up at 14:00 as had received no confirmation mail, and wait for 45 minutes to get connected and complete the order as it got caught in processing or something.

They didn’t seem to know how esims work, something is coming in the post today so hopefully it is that.

I haven't received any text or email from EE. However I did call the upgrades team just to check last night, they said everything is fine.

Damn this is a big boy

I‘m sorry to say but other than the MagSafe Wallet, the above car vent holder has got to be one of THE worst products I have ever seen.

No in car phone holder like this, whereby it attaches to the car vents, is gonna be strong enough to hold the weight of the holder itself PLUS the phone attached to the holder!!! These vent holders don’t even clip to the vents - they literally just slide in with nothing to secure them tightly to the vents themselves.

Good luck trying to get it to work......
I’ve had a cheap ones of these holding my iPhone 11 Pro Max since day one and it works perfectly.

Still nothing from very.co.uk And their customer services are shocking at providing update. I ordered on the 22nd October delivery 24th October still nothing.

anyone had any communication from very? Or still waiting.

shocking service from them

Just paid off my last couple of months contract with EE, just thought id have a chat with them regarding getting my new 12 Pro Max on Friday. Wanted a good Sim only deal...

First couple of deals i turned down then offered this!

'I have checked 5G for £20/m for 24 months with 100GB data
After NHS discount and 10% loyalty discount it will be £14.50/m'

That will do me !!!!

My Pro order was due on the 26th and came on the 24th, so you might be lucky.

This is the kind of positivity I need! Could only get 18th Delivery from Apple having been 5-7 business days when I first ordered. Fingers crossed it’s a bit ahead of schedule.

Also got a Curry’s order that says delivery on 13th but I’m very sceptical as they are still advertising them as available even now. Anyone got any prior experience with them?

Afternoon all, in my rush to place my order yesterday I put the digits of my address the wrong way round. Does anyone know how easy it is to change this? There’s no option on the app or the website. I’ve tried the online chat and been waiting for ages and haven’t been able to get through on the phone.
Thanks

If it’s processing you should be able to change on app or website if it’s preparing to ship then not actually sure. You’re best off trying to get through by phone

Thanks. It’s now moved to preparing to ship not been able to get in touch by phone it keeps just cutting me off with an automated message to try again. I’ll just keep persevering.

Trying now but not getting much luck, they won't take my Student Beans discount and say there aren't any 5G plans available for under £18 per month.

Same. It happened last year for my 11 pro max too, I ended up receiving a message from DPD before EE even let me know anything. I spoke to them on live chat this year and asked for my order number and they gave me it.

Hi everyone,

I’m going to be upgrading from iPhone X to the 12 Pro. How easy is it to transfer my physical EE sim into a ESIM? I’ve seen something about requesting it on MYEE via email for 50p, has anyone tried this and do you receive the QR code instantly? Many thanks everyone!

It costs £1.50. Log in to MyEE. Go to replacement sim and choose eSIM then choose move eSIM to new device. New sim will arrive in about 2 -3 days.

It’s here 😍😍😍 now I just need the phone ☺️
Probably a subjective answer, but how flexible are these silicone cases?

I usually have a spigen case, awhich is sort of more hard-ish plastic. I do like these plum coloured silicone cases, but wonder how flexible they are, with regards to them letting dust or dirt in arount the screen etc. My experience of silicone cases in the past was that they tended to be a bit looser on the phone.

Or, are these more like the leather cases, and have a stiffer/harder plastic shell, basically coated with a silicone finish?

Just spoke to EE about this and the guy had to check with Tech support.

Basically they send a QR through the post and you scan it on the new device, which then deactivates the old eSIM. You can the proceed to wipe the old phone.

Not completely true. Once you scan the code it does not deactivate the old sim it just installs it on your device. Just like placing a new physical sim in the device. You still have to go online (with the old sim) and activate the sim swap. It will then move over.
