I’ve got a delivery date of the 30th (amazing the difference a few minutes can make when ordering!).
Has anyone who had a late date in the past from launch day, ever had their delivery date change to a sooner date?
Unfortunately in the current climate I’d expect any change to push it later rather than bring it forward!

Have alook at 'Nodus' the Saffron yellow looks good!

The pictures aren’t quite clear on their website but it looks like the cases are open at the bottom and that’s something I don’t like. Plus they aren’t available until the end of this month or early next month.

just received my torras case looks good I wonder if spigen own them as the package colouring is spigenesque

John Lewis go live at 8:00am on launch day. They never do pre-orders. You've got to be quick to place your order - already be logged into your JL account with payment set up so your good to go.

I bought a 12 Pro for my other half from Apple but tracked John Lewis online this year just out of interest. If I recall by around between 8:03am and 8:06am they had sold out of all 12 Pro colours in all sizes.
Agreed. JL was my backup plan and you get a 2 yr guarantee. I believe they go live at 8am.
Handy information for anyone who missed out on launch day delivery with Apple.

Anyone ordered through EE given a date for delivery?
I was assured by the Customer service I'm getting mine on on Friday, tracking still shows:
Expected Delivery: Yet to be confirmed!

I can’t even see my tracking page and I didn’t get an email, but don’t worry you should receive it on the 13th. You will get a DPD notification before the EE page updates.

I understand buying multiple cases, then returning the ones which you don't want

some of you on here buying the 12/Pros last month with the full intention of returning it was a bit ridiculous tho x
I can’t understand some people who have always had the max versions then dropping to a smaller size thinking it’s better and liveable
I sold my laptop iPad Pro and now just use my phone for everything bigger the better for me personally ,you don’t own a 65 inch oled then drop to a smaller version only one way up lol

Put my XS Max in the case for a size comparison.

Thanks for that, was just going to ask that very question. Next to no difference.

Many people have.
It’s always been under promise and over deliver with Apple.
Good luck!

I normally go on a couple big trips a year which obviously wasn’t possible this year so ive done some retail therapy instead😂 I usually get both consoles as I like exclusives on both but not normally at the same time but this year is an exception 😁

Same here. I’ve was supposed to go on three to four trips this and as I haven’t gone on any I’ve saved a lot of money there so I figure it’s okay to splash out on the iPhone, PS5 and Xbox Series X. I have a pretty decent gaming laptop but I like having all the consoles especially so I can play any of the exclusives.

Lol i should have kept my thoughts to myself re Amazon returns. Opened pandora's box.
Apologies if i hurt anyones feeling intentionally or unintentionally.
Better go place orders for Black and Product Red Leather cases to complete the collection and prove to you lot I have no intention to abuse the system lol.

He’s not the only one. I also have all three on preorder with the Xbox Series X being delivered on Tuesday, the iPhone 12 Pro Max on Friday and the PS5 the following week on Thursday.

The hardest thing for me is the luxury of time. The first thing I would do when lottery winning is to quit the job and play the overdue games
This suit best especially in lock down.

So many backlog with PS5 and PS+ subscription. You even have xbox. So wondering how we gonna manage to utilise

I have yet left to mention also awaiting the bike delivery which I been waiting for last 5 months as backordered

In principle there is no difference really but I think that most of us who bought the 12 Pro a couple of weeks ago genuinely believed that we might well be happy with the 6.1" screen size as it was 0.3" larger than the previous standard iPhone and only 0.4" smaller than the old 11 Pro Max. In the event I decided I had made a mistake and had to have the 12 Pro Max because the bigger screen (6.7"), longer battery life and camera enhancements were irresistible for just £100 more.

The build dates we are hearing about at the moment are early October so there is no way they will come with 14.2. I'm going to update on the new phone not this one.

What build dates did the 12 and 12 Pro have since they shipped with 14.1.

Returning a product that is genuinely not fit for intended use or "up to standard" is and should always be perfectly acceptable. However ordering several colours to see which is preferred or buying a product planning for its return up front I don't agree with. I am not accusing you of this, BTW. I often see people here who buy multiple iPhones to check out the colours. And some people buy a model of phone knowing it's going back but can't wait for the model or colour they want to be in stock or available for purchase/delivery. At a minimum this can cause product shortages for people who genuinely want to buy the item with the intention of keeping it. But my main issue is the point that these are very profitable companies. Quite right. And in order to maintain that profit they need to factor in the cost to them of product returns. So ordering things with an intention to return them just means the cost of the product is increased for everyone.

I know I will likely get flamed for this...
I understand but I disagree. Apple charge £60 a case because people will spend that to protect their £1000 phone, not because of the rate of returns. The prices aren’t going up because some people return things either, prices are going up because everything in this world is getting more expensive. Amazon sold cases this year at a discounted price while still maintaining their end of Jan returns policy.

I totally understand that buying something to use for a month with the intention of returning it is going to be frowned upon but purchasing something so you can review colour, quality in your own home is literally why online returns policies exist.

If it helps you sleep at night by not taking advantage of (and by this I just mean using, not abusing) a returns policy from the biggest online retailer in the world then that’s great, but I certainly won’t lose any sleep.

also disclaimer I have no intentions on returning any of my cases, they are all fantastic.

Is the screen size of the 12 pro really that much smaller than the 11 Pro Max in terms of text and content display. I was so tempted to drop from the 11 Pro Max to the 12 Pro because of the physical size of the phone makes it easier to carry around and a drop of 0.4" screen size seemed so minimal. Not that bothered about the battery life or camera.

I am with EE but I find better deals by going sim only as I upgrade my phone every year. I do find their upgrade options are more expensive and they lock you in for a 24 months contract. Also the iPhone is locked to EE for the first 18 months.
This is wrong. It’s only locked to EE for 6 months. Also from next year it’s illegal for carriers to lock phones. So next years iPhone will be unlocked from the start.
