What do you mean exactly by sim lock? I believe SIM’s can have pins which either you set up or can be found online from your networks website in the event your sim becomes locked/is locked.
Yes it asked for my SIM pin once I erased the content etc thats normal isnt it?

Sweet, that’s me pre approved for the 13 pro 256 Sierra blue!

Better pay off the loan on the 12 pro now

Nice @Jinjin ! Did it give you the option to contribute some additional money upfront, to offset the cost and reduce the monthly payments?

Hello again you lovely people. Nice to be back… less than 12 months since the last thread! Has anyone done the maths on the times between X and XS, and 12 Pro and 13 Pro? I have a feeling I have owned this 12PM for the shortest amount of time of any previous iPhone I've had. Which is a shame, because I LOVE the colour. What have they done to my sweet sweet Pacific Blue?

Anyway yeah I'm getting the Sierra Blue obvs.

Like last year I am paying outright and skipping iUP. It is such a faff and I'm disappointed that Apple haven't worked out a way to do it outside the store.

My trade-in plan is currently to go in-store to CPW. They tend to check the device in store and credit you straight away, which I like. And are currently quoting £600 for my 12PM. Anyone got other (better) plans?

Anyone found any more info on how reliable trading into Argos is? Could really do with some reviews of it they pay out before we commit!

The only benefit of me using Argos would be that I could keep my phone instead of using a burner next week and then send it off once the new one arrives..

That’s a good deai

but how are they?
I swear by 3, never had an issue with them and always the cheapest sim only deals imo

I don't think the deals in that screenshot are their 'advanced' plan which includes go roam etc (Although thanks to Brexit they're bringing back roaming charges next year, well done if you voted for that!!!)

I left to go to o2 last year as they had a decent deal however found the signal rubbish, went back to 3 as soon as the 12 month sim with o2 ran out

but to be honest, it really doesn't matter who you're with, it depends on who's the best carrier for where you live for the best signal at the best price whether it be Tesco mobile or EE

I currently pay £15/m Sim only on 3's advanced plan, 100gb unlimited mins/texts, could easily get away with 10gb a month, no idea what these people who manage to use 100gb or need unlimited data are doing 🤣

Just 1 review, isn't encouraging 😆

Oh dear.. 🤣

Saying that I never take any notice of trustpilot, you know the type of people on there are the type of people who will go to the effort to write a 1* review of McDonalds and swear they will never go again because they forgot to put salt on their chips😅

(honest...read any McDonalds/kfc/Burger King reviews on trustpilot, comedy gold!)

with these Argos prices still being so high.. anyone else think Argos are just being Argos and have forgot to reduce them since the announcement!?
😂 was thinking the exact same. Somebody at Argos HQ will scramble to lower these prices in a few days.

Anyone who doesn't fancy using Argos; Carphone Warehouse still have pretty competitive trade-in prices https://www.carphonewarehouse.com/mobiles/trade-in.html

Used them myself this year via a PCworld store and they paid me on the spot.
