Good guide for buy on IUP in the UK

Anyone done this? I'm not sure I trust it.... I spoke to Apple earlier and was told to do it via the Apple Upgrade page on the website to reserve my device, to then visit the store to complete the upgrade and collect on the 24th

Is Argos Trade In going to be the 'Amazon £849, any iPhone' of this year?

I've already caved and lined up a 128gb Pro in Sierra Blue on the App.

Will wait to see if any retailers make a massive booboo on their pricing, but Amazon must have a massive team of people checking and rechecking the pricing this year 😂

I swear by 3, never had an issue with them and always the cheapest sim only deals imo

I don't think the deals in that screenshot are their 'advanced' plan which includes go roam etc (Although thanks to Brexit they're bringing back roaming charges next year, well done if you voted for that!!!)

I left to go to o2 last year as they had a decent deal however found the signal rubbish, went back to 3 as soon as the 12 month sim with o2 ran out

but to be honest, it really doesn't matter who you're with, it depends on who's the best carrier for where you live for the best signal at the best price whether it be Tesco mobile or EE

I currently pay £15/m Sim only on 3's advanced plan, 100gb unlimited mins/texts, could easily get away with 10gb a month, no idea what these people who manage to use 100gb or need unlimited data are doing 🤣
Yep I’m with EE and apparently my average usage over the past 2 years is only 13GB out of 50GB, I’ve found an o2 deal £10 per month for 20gb so might give that a shot as o2 had been ok for me in the past

I’m expecting a back-to-back Amazon pricing foul up again.

Especially out of the Slough office managed by David Brent! 😂

Slight off topic, Amazon have MagSafe chargers for £26 just ordered two with some Stouchi stands for them

Ordered one of these 5 mins ago!

Apple's battery improvements this year are pretty crazy.

On their comparison page they've added a new metric Video playback (streamed): https://www.apple.com/uk/iphone/compare/?modelList=iphone13mini,iphone13pro,iphone13promax

12 Mini: 10 hours
12 Pro: 11 hours
12 Pro Max: 12 hours

13 Mini: 13 hours
13 Pro: 20 hours
13 Pro Max: 25 hours

So they're saying that for streaming video the battery in the 13 mini lasts longer than the 12 pro max! Impressive.

13 Pro and Pro Max almost see massive increases.

No word of a lie, this 6s took 30 mins to update to new iOS.... this week is going to be the longest wait ever
Blimey 30 mins  I’ve got to do the same thing on Monday when I use my 6S burner!

Plus ensure all my work apps are functioning to work from home including my work Zoom for client & team meetings. Potentially this could be carnage!

I’ve got £482 locked in for my iPhone 12 128gb at WeBuyAnyPhone (including 5% extra). Locked in on the 7th and I have 21 days to get it back to them. Is this a good price or shall I look elsewhere?

Literally can’t get into my hotmail atm which I need the most to provide the MM QR code tomorrow at the post office 😭

Remember those on EE if you need a new eSIM don’t wipe your current phone with eSIM as you need your number active to receive the sms to activate the new eSIM.

How are people going to access the pre-order tomorrow? App? Website? Anyone figure out a direct link for the pre-order?

I sold the same model to Argos Trade in for £519 a short while ago. I have 14 days to send it in from today.

Pretty much the order process I’d followed when I was on IUP

Im seeing members ordering two types of ESR protectors. Which one is better Amorite version or the Standard version?
