These cellular plan deals are outrageously good compared to Canadian carriers. 12 Euro = $18 Canadian. I pay $50/month for 20GB and unlimited throttled after that and thats a corporate plan. Most consumers in Canada pay over $100 CDN/Month for a similar plan!

Whenever we travel to Europe (Italy, Spain, etc), we are amazed by the SIM only prices we can get with a non-european passport.
You should see some of the smaller firms who also do rolling 1 month sim plans.

I’m paying £10 a month for 24gb 5G u/l mins and text with IDMobile.

IUP was there for ‘ease of use’ - get a phone and AppleCare, pay a deposit up front, make 20 payments and after 11 of them (about a year) you can hand the phone back to apple and start all over again on a new device.

IUP: deposit up front. larger monthly payments ( loan over 20 months rather than 24) but buy doing so, in a year, your remaining balance is lower. And a bit of a rip off just handing the phone back to Apple. Doing it in site only was a faff
It seems that their IUP was inspired by car PCP plans

If I’m buying outright is it okay to have it delivered to my address not the card holding address or name? Just wanna makes sure it all goes smooth

Canadian telecommunications have a long way to go....especially gov't regulations regarding the prices they can charge. I've read elsewhere that Canada has some of the highest cellular plan rates in the world.

I traded in my
MacBook Pro earlier this year through Apple and they use brightstar. They’ll probably be used for anyone trading in for the 13 too.

Had a slight issue with them not giving me the full price even though the inspection report showing it to be perfect. One call and they said it was a system error and paid the difference straight away.

I do recall it did seem to take a little while for it to register as arrived and be processed… maybe give yourselves a bit longer to get it in to them!

I was all in on getting the MagSafe charger for my new 13 Pro Max but then I watched a video on YT earlier today (
). The image below (a still from the video) shows the charge rate compared to generic 7.5w wireless charging, standard wired charging, and fast 20w wired charging - MagSafe is yellow. It just kind of made me realise - when I would actually use it, over the 20w fast chargers every time?

I may still pick up a MagSafe charger at some point, though! But I'm diverting funds towards MagSafe accessories for now

Wireless charing with Apple is less about speed but convenience.

I went for the belkin 3-1 stand so can charge phone, watch and AirPod pros in one place with one cable.

Phone gets plonked on at bedtime and all good by the morning.

On the odd occasion I need a quick boost, I’ll use a wired usb c to top up

It will be delivered to the Primary Shipping address saved in your settings. Pretty sure this can be amended before it’s shipped.
I’ve changed the primary to me just it’s not matching the cardholder I’m sure this won’t be an issue?

Same here, I only ever use my wireless charger at night, must take about 6 hours to go from empty to full but it’s overnight so what’s it matter

10 minutes plugged into the charger that comes with the phone gives it more than enough to get me through the rest of the day if I’m running low for some reason

I picked my 11 Pro up in store, they had 2 queues, one for walk ins and another for those who had pre ordered

unfortunately I don’t think we’re ever going to see the days of people camping for days again over all the hype, the phones just arnt that different or special anymore :(

I know they brought in reservations for covid but can you not just walk back in to an Apple store as normal now all restrictions have been lifted? Haven’t been to an Apple store since last years phone came out..

That was pre COVID … wonder if it’s possible now ?
