I’ve always rung Apple care to get the refund back no need to do this via Barclays. They just ask for your banking number etc and send it with an email invoice.
This was exactly the same for a friend and myself last year too. When I spoke to Apple they couldn’t process the refund straight to me it has to go to Barclays and then to me apparently

Less than a week if I remember correctly. How long did it take for Barclays to then refund the money?

YesDid you do the same as me? Pay off the Barclays loan then contact Apple for a refund?
Thought that would be the case
Not sure if i did it in the right order?
I rang Barclays and paid off the full amount
Then rang Apple and they processed the refund
I plan on ringing Barclays next week to chase the refund
Is that what you usually do? @Jinjin

Sold my iPhone 12 Pro on Sunday and will be using an old iPhone 6S until the 13 comes out it’s going to be a long 3 weeks
I shall order the 13 Pro Max and I’m actually going to keep my iPhone 12 Pro this year and use that as my spare phone for the next five or six years. That way next year I can sell my 13 pro max several weeks before the 14 is announcedwhat’s the oldest iPhone you’d consider buying to use before the 13 comes out? iPhone 7 maybe?
I haven’t quite decided yet 😅 kinda need my phone and don’t have a back up nor want to buy a back upSo when are you sending off your iPhones to sell?

Sold my 12 last week, using my backup SE 2020 until the 13 Pro Max is out.So when are you sending off your iPhones to sell?
Really depends on your model & storage capacity. sellmymobile.com and compareandrecycle.co.uk (while not exhaustive) will give good overviews with links to trustpilot scores. And where's the best place to sell? MusicMagpie? Who's the most reliable?
