Which Model are you getting?

Just had my return pack from Argos trade in. Very thin padded envelope barely big enough to fit packing label never mind the phone!

Thinking of sending it in the box with a bigger padded envelope.

I am ordering the 128gb black model upgrading from the iPhone 12. I am unsure if I should click and collect or delivery? Not worth upgrading to the pro can anybody tell me other than extra camera what you get? Sometimes Carphone warehouse offer cheaper deals too.

Have a flight at 12.20… never wanted so much for a flight to be delayed!!
If not, should be back online around 3, fingers crossed there’ll still be Pro Graphite 256 stock for launch day…
You going to miss the launch day, can you trust someone else with your Apple Store App to do it at 1pm?

Similar incident here!!!

I sold my XS for £700 couple of years ago. Met at the station where I knew there would be CCTV.

Buyer gave me £700 cash, all in £20 notes.
Went to the bank the next day and the deposit machine wouldn't take the notes - I was then told they were all fake notes - the bank were surprised at how good they were!

Contacted the police etc who told me to contact BTP as the deal had been done at the station. Contacte dthem and they didnt get back to me for 3 weeks even after I chased multiple times. In the end it was too late - they had overwritten the footage!

I complained. Because of this they assigned someone to the case.

After tracing the IMEI to a sim that was now in the handset, it turns out the handset was sold on Amazon to someone. Police traced the person, who said they had sent it back to the seller just a few days before - had receipts etc, everything checked out - so just missed it!!
Amazon would not disclose any information on the seller to the police.

To cut a long story short - it took a WHOLE YEAR or waiting and chasing, and tracing the IMEI etc. In the end they found the Amazon seller and had enough evidence to issue a conditional discharge.

Finally got my £700 from him via the courts!!!

I don't want that stress again!
What am absolute nightmare. So glad the UK police do something and that you were eventually reimbursed your losses. Although all the time and effort must have cost a pretty penny also.

How did you get yours so quickly if you only ordered it yesterday?!!
I ordered mine late on Wednesday night after seeing someone on here mention it. Still haven't received my CPW packaging that I ordered on Tuesday night, Argos on the ball in that respect.

I live in a city which has an Apple store. I'm weighing up whether the option of store pick may be better - if offered at checkout for a sooner date than delivery.

Did anyone do a launch day store collection last year - were the queues silly?
Liverpool and Manchester Apple Stores have been a pain lately.

They're enforcing social distancing to the max so even on a regular day, you have to have an appointment and there have been queues. Fair play to them for keeping their staff safe but I imagine it's going to be slow-going on launch day.

Won't be getting involved this year but if I was I'd have gone for the iPhone 13 Pro Max - Silver

Mrs at work, so not really a possibility…
I’m hoping that considering this year is more of an S upgrade, delivery times won’t slip that quickly… specially for graphite.
Sierra blue, on the other hand, will go very quick, I’m sure.

First time going for an iPhone on release day, having got a watch on release day last year. Pre-ordering the Graphite Pro 256gb... hoping the dates don't slip in the first minute or two!!
