Yeah ordering early with the provider is a bit of a risk. I ordered my 11 pro via EE on the phone before the pre-sale went live and they assured me it was all good and they just needed to process it once the presale went live.

I got the phone 3 days after the launch date on the Monday and when I spoke to EE I was told "sorry we had a lot of pre-orders we had to process and limited staff to process them"

I'll put my fate in my own hands :D

Hardly the end of the world at the end of the day lol

Ok… after having the hardest time deciding, I think I’ve locked in on my final choice.

For the first time ever, I’m going with the gold option. iPhone 13 Pro Max 256GB Gold. Now… I need to choose which case colour I want.

Me too - I had a string of Space Gray / black phones then went green for the 11 Pro Max and then blue for 12 Pro. I'm not keen on the blue being paler this year, so I'm going to try gold for the first time ever like you. I've also realised I've alternated between small / large phones at each change too ...

Sequoia Green case arrived yesterday & looks great, and the Golden Brown wallet will be here next week to go with it. Fingers crossed for 1PM.

If you get through to someone nice and helpful, they can make the changes to your account, go through the t&c's etc and process the order at 1pm. They can't put through the sales order until 1pm.

You doing online or via telesales?

I am ordering the 128gb black model upgrading from the iPhone 12. I am unsure if I should click and collect or delivery? Not worth upgrading to the pro can anybody tell me other than extra camera what you get? Sometimes Carphone warehouse offer cheaper deals too.
….and better battery!

I‘ve gone for the Pro model as never had a ‘Pro’ model before and it’s only an extra £5 a month on top of what I currently pay now for my standard 12 with Barclays Finance.

I think you should get the Pro Max 1TB option with Applecare+
Go for it dude!!!!

£78 with discount.
Jesus h Christ. I've been sim only since the 4 so I always forget how expensive contracts are.

That is an insane amount of money for a phone contract.

But I know not everyone can buy outright. Especially not the pro max.

Works out to be £22 a month for unlimited everything after you take the price of the phone out. Pretty much bang on a good SIM only deal.

Anytime upgrade is a con. They will force you onto a higher price plan.
I've always paid around £90 per month with Apple Music and EE Loss and Theft Insurance

£90 x 24 Unlimited Data, Apple Music, and Insurance
Yearly: £1080
2 Years: £2160

Then each year, I sell my iPhone I get about £600, then upgrade again.
This year I am not sure to either Early Upgrade or buy outright as Apple now do Theft insurance too

iPhone 12 128 GB are currently going for between £600 and £800 on Facebook Marketplace - that IS encouraging!!

Had my 11 Pro Max listed there but I get the standard 'Is it available' messages then nothing else, or silly low offers below what MM have locked in.
No-one is dumb enough to give me what I want it seems.

Just had my return pack from Argos trade in. Very thin padded envelope barely big enough to fit packing label never mind the phone!

Thinking of sending it in the box with a bigger padded envelope.

Same here...spot the problem :D (That's a 12PM)

Rather handily though, I'd requested trade in from another company who sent me this, much better packaging, so I'll send to Argos (Likewize) in that packaging!
