Just upgraded via EE Chat £91 + 20% discount was offered £72 in total with Apple Music. Cheaper than I am paying now.

The advisor seemed legit, sent me all the T&C in chat, PIN code sent to my device I had to send back in the chat.

I also have additional 10% off because I have BT broadband, if that remains total cost would be £63.7

Seems legit, Hopefully its proceed. My EE account shows I still eligible for upgrade tho, they systems are very slow form memory.

But don't forget the negative points. Your phone is locked, its a PITA if you want to change configuration / colour. Any issues with the phone is a PITA to deal with. Apple always have more flexibility with those who have purchased direct from them.
Exactly. I can't be doing with locked phones. It shouldn't be a thing in my opinion.

If your not keeping the phone passed 12 months or have AC+ doesn’t make much difference not going direct to Apple. They will sort any issues out anyway.

Ofcom do not allow locking anymore. EE also do Apple next day replacement, same as Apple Store.

I thought the condition of anytime upgrade is that you have to upgrade to an equivalent or higher price plan? Im pretty sure this is in their rules.
They didn't have a tariff which was around the same price, so ended up doing a deal for £3 less month.

Does anyone know when the networks will be releasing there pricing? I have my pre-order with apple setup, but could do with a decent deal to replace my Vodafone one

Phones won't be locked after December due to new offcom rules. At the moment they are only locked for the first 6 months, then automatically unlocked.

I agree Apple are flexible, but I've never changed my mind and wanted to change devices.

Btw in the first 14 days, you can change colour with EE, it might be 7. Check first.

So lets say I order with EE and change mind about colour or capacity ? Are you claiming I can walk into an EE store with my device and walk out with a no questions asked replacement within 14 days? I don't think so. I can do this with Apple no problem.
