2 hours after pre-orders began, there is no slippage for iPhone Pros 256 GB.... is this a first?

Looks like they've now slipped to 5 Oct - 12 Oct delivery but one of the longest times since I can remember.

All done for pickup on 24th. iPhone upgrade programme.

Seamless process once the app went live. Website on Mac seemed to take ages to come online this year.

I doubt the error last year was Amazon, I am pretty sure it is Apple who run their own Amazon marketplace.

Amazon is an Authorised Apple Reseller and sells their own stock, they all say despatched and sold by Amazon. It's why you'll often see reduced prices on certain colours and storage sizes, presumably the ones that aren't selling as well.

There's no way Apple would do that if they were running their own Amazon storefront.

yep, iPhone app, although it had the majority of my attention with the swipe and force close action 😆

periodically I clicked refresh on the browser versions with a spare hand. I actually left the iPad to do its thing as a bit of a test to see if it would refresh itself. I managed my the purchase on my iPhone about 6/7 minutes before I saw any action on the browsers even though I kept refreshing. The iPad sprang to life on its own when the browsers did.

I’m picking up in store though, I won’t be sending my old 11 Pro off until I have my new phone next week. I think we get 14 days to send our old iPhone though right?

Yeah you get 14 days and you should be treated the same as someone who's getting their phone posted to them - i.e. 14 days from the date you would have received a shipping notification.

Can anyone confirm there won’t be any issues with the following - I paid via Barclays loan, Barclays have all my correct details ( I’ve checked my contract) ie address, phone number. When I checked out, despite my changing my billing and shipping address with Apple as well as all payment details, they somehow pulled my old address and phone number. I’m collecting so at least don’t have to worry about it shipping to the wrong place but is there anything I should be aware of? I already have my pickup pass uploaded to my wallet. Ie when I go to collect will they ask me to confirm address and phone number, will Apple send a receipt to my old address or anything?

I got my 256gb Pro Max ordered but they have my old address as shipping address, even though my current one is in my details. Does anyone know if I can change it? It can't be done at the mo as the order is pending.
