Which Model are you getting?

I posted to MM on Tuesday and they emailed yesterday (Friday) to say it’s been processed by Royal Mail but not yet at their warehouse. I’m surprised it’s taking that long! My 21 day window closes on 24th but didn’t want to risk it not getting there in time.

If you’re locked in for launch day delivery I would suggest just posting it today. Couple of extra days with an old phone vs missing the deadline and them slashing your offer in half ⚖️
Interesting, I wonder if the influx of phones they will have been getting over the last week is causing processing times to slip by a day or so

@Cutiekitty92 has just said she posted hers yesterday so that will be good to see when it’s processed, although by the time that happens I imagine mine will have been posted off :(

Curious to know how many of you who are purchasing the 13 pro are coming from a 12 pro?

I currently have a 12 pro max pacific blue and kind of on the fence about an upgrade as it is very minor to say the least but I’ve said this on previous launches and gone and upgraded!!

I am replacing my blue 12 pro with graphite 13 pro. Battery life and 120hz was enough for me

Anyone using an esim having to go through the mild annoyance of ordering a new one?
I don’t see the point of it. In my head when I first read about it, I was like - ‘Oh cool, sign up to a mobile plan and get emailed your SIM instantly and scan it off the screen!’

I’m sticking with it though so that I can use an esim and physical sim when abroad now that free roaming seems to be going away with Brexit.

My Amazon order still says delivery date pending, it’s making me nervous.
Not sure if you are with EE, but you used to have to order a paper code…. But this changed last year and you can now do it all through the MyEE app and maybe even the website… so you don’t need the code and it is more or less instant.

A mate of mine moved from physical SIM to eSIM vie this method a few months back and it was smooth.

will be my first year trying it for eSIM to eSIM though.

I'm upgrading from 12 Pro Max in Pacific Blue to 13 Pro max in Sierra Blue

From the reports I’ve seen and my personal experience, that should be fine.
I would think so too, I have 21 days from my lock in date of the 7th so it’s either the 27th/28th depending on whether they count the 7th as a day or not.
If it’s the 28th then posting this Monday should be more than enough time

Likewise!

I still think the PB is better. Best colour iPhone I've had since the iPhone 5 in Slate. But needs must, and I need that 120Hz screen and new camera the latest iPhone at all times.

Yeah, I am concerned a bit about that, but I ended up pre ordering the Sierra blue, for a pick up on Friday. I hope I can have a peek before I am served and if I don't like the colour, I can still say no.
I hope it's not baby blue, I don't think they would risk that as a pro colour. I can imagine a baby blue as a normal colour, just as the light blue the 5c had, but the Sierra looks way more muted. Fingers crossed.

It’s totally baby blue mate ;) definitely not for me this year.

So, spoken with Apple he was reluctant to change my card details as he could see there was a “glitch” their end on my order. He said he fixed it and the payment will go through the next time they try and take it.

So another waiting game
Sorry if I’ve missed most of what you’ve posted RE this, but are you delivery or pick up?

could you not just cancel the order all together and re-order for an in store pick up?
Most models from what I can see have slipped back on delivery dates but are still available for in store on the 24th, I’d suspect if you really wanted to risk it you could even just walk in store next Friday and pick one up without ordering

So, Natwest have declined the transaction a 3rd time even after I spoke to them last night. No idea what is going on.
This will almost certainly be an arbitrary internal bank limit on Apple Pay transactions. Some banks have them but obviously won’t download divulge the amount.

Having got an old account with NatWest their fraud prevention systems are a law unto themselves - speaking to someone won’t make the slightest bit of difference - there is nothing they can do to overrule it or change the decision making.

If you use the card in the old fashioned way I suspect you’ll be fine. Either that or simply use a different card if you have one.

Preordered a 13 Pro Max Sierra Blue 256GB yesterday as the contract for my 11 Pro Max ends on the 20th. First time I'll be buying a phone outright, normally do contracts as I got a 40% retail partner discount with EE, but that's no longer available and their prices for an Unlimited Data plan were astronomical.

So gone with a sim only Unlimited Data plan for £25p/m and provided my old phone passes (no reason it shouldn't), I'll get £355 back in trade in with Apple. Was going to go with delivery but 5th to 11 Oct was the time frame given, so will be heading up to Sheffield to pick mine up on the 25th.

I think I’ll ring Apple back again and ask them to do that instead of trying Apple Pay again.

What a nightmare

Another look at it and the Pantone colours it is interesting, that the Pantone Sierra colour is actually brown.
There is however the Sierra Leone flag where the bottom colour is blue, Pantone PMS 292 C.
Now that looks like the photos of the phone and yes, very close to baby blue.
Now I am really concerned.
