Which Model are you getting?

Sorry if I’ve missed most of what you’ve posted RE this, but are you delivery or pick up?

could you not just cancel the order all together and re-order for an in store pick up?
Most models from what I can see have slipped back on delivery dates but are still available for in store on the 24th, I’d suspect if you really wanted to risk it you could even just walk in store next Friday and pick one up without ordering
It’s for delivery. I did check for stock at my local store and it says there’s none available :( There’s only one store in Wales too so can’t even check an alternative

I think I’ll ring Apple back again and ask them to do that instead of trying Apple Pay again.

What a nightmare

Yeh seems like your having nightmare bud

I know Apple allow you to change/update bank details if a payment has not went through, so forget about Apple Pay and use a ‘normal’ card, and give them your number to update the payment ;)

Curious to know how many of you who are purchasing the 13 pro are coming from a 12 pro?

I currently have a 12 pro max pacific blue and kind of on the fence about an upgrade as it is very minor to say the least but I’ve said this on previous launches and gone and upgraded!!
Upgraded here from 12 pro to 13 pro - battery life is always a huge bonus - I’ve been struggling a bit with it since 5G came out so it’s searching more. Also love the camera and the 3x optical zoom will actually improve it significantly for me.
This years upgrade is more than last years for me 🙂

Another look at it and the Pantone colours it is interesting, that the Pantone Sierra colour is actually brown.
There is however the Sierra Leone flag where the bottom colour is blue, Pantone PMS 292 C.
Now that looks like the photos of the phone and yes, very close to baby blue.
Now I am really concerned.

Think you should order a back up colour mate ;)

This will almost certainly be an arbitrary internal bank limit on Apple Pay transactions. Some banks have them but obviously won’t download divulge the amount
My bank (Lloyds) will not even admit there is one. I can use my CC to buy a iPhone, but not Apple Pay, despite using Apple Pay for just about everything else.
I have asked them several times why Apple Pay will not work on large purchase, but, they just say “it must be a limit applied by the retailer“.

Does anyone know about store pickup on Friday, my boyfriend ordered his and my iPhones and finance on his name would I be able to go and collect them, I could take his id. Do you think that would work? When he was placing the orders he was in a rush to process so didn’t select someone else collecting.

Given I spent most of the past year at home, I just turned off 5G (hit and miss in area) and left it on 4G for the gains

Can anyone clarify what the differences are between the 2 methods of transferring data from one iPhone to another?

I know you can Back Up old device to iCloud and then Restore From Backup on the new device (which transfers everything) but what about the other method whereby on the new device, you scan that swirling ball graphic thing on the old device and then you just keep both devices sat next to each other whilst data transfers over?!

What’s the difference?!

The transfer from iCloud back up is so much faster!

Transferring from the old device takes a billion years lol

Out of curiousity… would to people see under the ‘for you’ tab in the Apple store app?

I thought I had my order showing under the ‘here’s what’s happening for you’ heading but not there any more. Can still see it under my orders.

3bdcd051b28138464b7529bb9851f576.jpg

Same for me - it’s now showing under ‘My Orders’.

Decent unboxing of all Silicone cases in all colours & Magsafe:

Really like the look of Blue Jay colour more now. In that clip it looks more like a rich pastel blue instead of just light blue on the Apple Store. I still do think the darker, navy blue of Abyss Blue is a stronger colour match for the Sierra Blue but it’s a close call!

@Jinjin what do you reckon?

As much as I love these colours, silicone cases just attract WAAAY too much lint for my liking hence why I always go for leather.

My order is also not showing there at the moment, but it can still be viewed by clicking on my profile photo in the top right corner of the app and then clicking orders.

It was under the ’for you’ tab on my iPad that the pre-pre order did not appear, but it was on the iPhone…not sure why.

Same for me!

This is the reason ive still not posted my phone off to MM yet 🤣

No issues with using a 7+ for a week, I just really can't be doing with the hassle of transferring everything over to it and then probably facing issues with passwords etc for accounts, so I keep putting it off

Saying that am I right in saying passwords etc for things such as social media accounts and emails actually transfer over aswell so you don't need to sign back in?

Just dropped both 12 Pro and Pro Max off at the delivery office to send to MM. Let’s hope I get that full £1371!

Did an Asda shop right after and my wife’s temporary iPhone SE 1st gen went from 80% to 10% whilst checking off items on the shopping list… gunna be a fun week!

Most people’s phones will go straight into a case anyway so you’ll never actually see the colour of the phone!!!

upgrade every year regardless. Keeps me on the latest phone for minimal cost. I’m on a cheap SIM only deal, and sell my phone a year later for a good price. And, I’m fortunate enough to be able to afford it.

Enjoy life, spend your money on things you like, if you can afford to do so.

Yeah, but just remember to backup / export any authentication apps you have. I balls up when I restored my phone and some websites have no fall back so you’ll have to create all new accounts.

I am because I have poor impulse control and I’m in the iUP program anyway so it doesn’t really make sense not too.

Yes correct,

When I use an iCloud back up, all my passwords are transferred across on the iCloud keychain

Start a fresh… a new iPhone experience!

But if you can be bothered with that then iCloud backup/restore is the best.

All my passwords and apps I use are iCloud backed up so usually no stress starting from a clean phone.

Gives me a chance to detox from the apps I’ve not used and also remove the gazillion games the kids have installed
