also had big issues with cards being declined.

pretty sure its an apple issue. my apple pay doesn't even work any more.

bank said its clear from their side. called apple and paid manually. no idea whats going on
My MBNA got declined yesterday when I did the “get ready” but it was unblocked in a few mins by the automated text and went through fine today.

Should I ring them in the morning or will they try again do you think? The order status page doesn't indicate that there is a problem with payment.

The first agent who responded to me on their app was of no use whatsoever and made no sense either!

Don’t wait and give them a call tomorrow

Out of curiousity… would to people see under the ‘for you’ tab in the Apple store app?

I thought I had my order showing under the ‘here’s what’s happening for you’ heading but not there any more. Can still see it under my orders.

I really hope we dont get fooled by the pro colours. The sierra blue is my favourite so far but in the iPhone guide video that blue looks something else. Last year’s Graphite was not as dark as promoted in marketing material. It has a slight green hue to it in real life.

So, my 12.20 flight was unfortunately not late, so could only get back online at 2.30, by which point the Pro Graphite 256 delivery had already slipped to the 4/10…
Luckily, stock was still available to pick up at my local Apple Store, so all sorted for Friday at 5!
Happy days!!

I have last years Pacific Blue and loved the colour, but the ‘baby blue’ was just not personally for me

Way too light coloured, so went for the graphite 13 Pro Max 512gb

Ordered a Graphite 13 Pro Max 256gb from Currys in the end. Delivery on launch day.

They accept returns up to 21 days and can open and test the phone. They also accept PayPal credit which is ideal as I am selling my 12PM to music magpie who will pay by PayPal.

oh and £21 topcashback too.

Is it Friday yet?

I'm genuinely thinking of ordering a 2020 se so I don't have to deal with android for another week.

Different courses for different horses, bought the 12PM outright last year and about 2 months ago some idiot slapped it out my hand and now I've got a screen like the moon's surface.

3 things I found out get AppleCare or insurance, I've not had a damaged phone since my first in 1998 so stupidly thought I'd be fine.

2nd thing I found out is that Ceramic Shield is damn tough even though the screen looks like its been hit with a pick axe it still works fine as long as you don't care about what your looking at...

3rd a new screen runs around £300-£400+ so id rather take the hit with EE than pay for the screen🤗
True. Also, taking out phone insurance, like any optional insurance is a calculated risk. If you’ve not damaged a phone since 1998 and you did choose to now pay £400 for a new screen, that would still be a fraction of the cost of insurance premiums for 23 years or Apple Care+ since it’s inception.

I’ve never taken out insurance or paid for additional Apple Care on any Apple product. I replaced an iPad screen once and I will no doubt break a phone screen at some point but as you say, horses for courses.

Collection orders, do you see a pending transaction?

Also those comparing Apple Vs EE. I find EE give or take the same price, if you want to upgrade every year. If you are not upgrading every year, outright is cheaper.

Please try and use another retailer, especially if you may return once open....Currys are not great with open returns. I tried to return a computer I bought many, many years ago. It was not a great experience. Never used Currys since.

Oh no, I caught the Macrumours first page feed where they talk about the choice between 13 and 13 pro and now I just feel like I’ve chosen the pro for the hell of it and I wasn’t being sensible 💀

I think you're a winner. You've dodged phone insurance since 1998. So even after your 300-500 quid loss I'd consider you're up financially overall.

As per one of my previous posts, this £643 is only for 'As New' (The device is like new and shows no signs of wear) phones. Drop down a level to 'Very Good' (The device is in a very good condition and only has a few slight signs of use - e.g. some slight, superficial scratches. The scratches on the display cannot be seen when the device is switched on) and the offer has dropped substantially to only £500
Yeah, that’s true - but as I told you when you replied with that on the other post, I told you I filled in “as new” (which my IPhone 11 pro max 256 was last year) and Re-Buy paid the full agreed price very quickly, no quibbles. I shared a screenshot confirming this.

First point is, if you have a scratched up device and falsely try and pass that off as being in “as new” condition, then best of luck to you, you may get away with it. On the other hand, if you then only get £500, that’s plainly your bad luck for those scratches.

Second point is, if you have any evidence of Re-Buy *not* paying the agreed price, then *and only then* you might be justified in posting a scare emoji. But I’ve not seen any evidence of this. Do you have any to share?

Don’t know if to be worried as I haven’t been charged yet and my order still says processing?

(Order confirmation 13:03 - Sierra Blue Pro Max 256GB - 24 delivery date).
