I’ve had a bit of a mare with my pre-order. My first app order for delivery (paid by Apple Pay) seemed to stall and didn’t appear to go through, so I placed another order but delivery had slipped to 4th October so I placed an order for collection. That seemed to go through but nothing showed up in your orders for quite a while. I did get two email confirmations so it appears both orders did go through.
Looking through ‘my orders‘ on the app now shows both orders but only processing. I called up HSBC to see if they had put a hold on either transaction and they said they’d been flagged up as fraud si confirmed they were legitimate. They didn’t really seem to know what they were talking about but said those orders wouldnt have gone through and I’d need to ‘just place the order again’
The orders are still showing as processing but nothing showing on my wallet transaction so looks like HSBC or Apple pay f*caked this up for me; not feeling as smug as I was yesterday.
I have about another 10 days to return my current phone, all of which is a (very!) long way of saying I need to order a pro max 256gb for delivery or collection as close as possible to release day to avoid losing loads on my trade in.
im guessing I’m out of luck but any suggestions gratefully received!
