Which Model are you getting?

The more expensive one is 10 times stronger and has black bezels. You get 2 protectors whereas you get 3 in the cheaper set. Don’t think you can go wrong with either. Many of us ran with the standards last year although I went through my full set due to one drop (did it’s job though) and picking up micro scratches. Gone for the more expensive option this year in the hope that it holds up better to wear and tear
Ahh I see, I take it the black bezels are not noticeable

Any experience with them on the phone, with an apple leather/silicone case? Can you tell its on etc?

And just to be sure then, this is the one?

For the sake of an extra £5ish Ill go with the stronger one, thanks for the help!

On a side note do apple offer their own screen protectors? I seem to remember they fit them for you in store, do you have to buy from them or do you just pay for them to fit a third party protector you have bought elsewhere?

Yeah that’s the link. I think the black one will look even cleaner as they’ll sit directly on top of the phones black edges. The standard ones already looked great to be honest and offer the same full screen protection with only a small cutout for the earpiece. You barely notice it’s there. Many of the other brands including the ones applied by Apple fully follow the shape of the notch leaving the whole area and camera system exposed which for many is a dealbreaker.

I had an ESR full coverage screen protector on my 12 Pro Max and you could not see or notice the black bezels. I like that it covered the whole display including the notch but did bot have any affect on the camera or face ID. Apple don't make or sell their own screen protectors. The ones you're talking about are made by Belkin and sold in the Apple stores. They are more expensive. In my opinion the ESR ones are the best ones to get.

Yes! I literally put in the order at 1:15pm on Friday (had a couple of failed attempts in the beginning) but it went through and delivery time was Sept 24th until today when it changed.
Damn that’s unlucky.
I’ve never heard of Apple pushing back on dates if it’s stated in the confirmation email.

I'm sticking with my see-through case from my 12P for my 13P, sizing seems to be virtually identical so hopefully case slips on.

Another shoutout for the ESR screen protectors. Been buying them for 2/3yrs. Never dropped a phone until last month, got a hole in my jacket during my run. Phone hit the ground, screen protector cracked but the screen was completely safe. Well worth the £8

Yeah...kinda gutted - was really looking forward to enjoying it next weekend seeing as I have a very tough week ahead at work and it was going to be my little reward haha

Well, what can you do...fingers crossed it delivers on the 4th and doesn't get pushed back again..

It seems like the buttons maybe aligned slightly differently and the camera section may or may not be slightly different too so your 12 Pro case may well not fit.

Unfortunately the camera array is significantly larger and the buttons have moved slightly

take a look here…

Just had a look. You're right. Seems even the buttons on the sides have moved a bit. Time for another case then

I think in a previous year I had a date change like this, but it did change back and received on launch day, not sure what Apple product it was for as this was years ago.

Decided to change my EE plan dropping from 100GB to 40GB. It will cost me £48.30 per month.
Partner got another EE line with unlimited data and with gifting allowed it made sense to reduce the cost.

iPhone 13 Pro 256GB costing me in total £1209.20 (£1159.20 + £50) over 24months is bloody good business. As per usual will be upgrading next year.

I wouldn’t worry about it, chances are it’ll arrive on launch day as the same thing happened to many people last year.

Can somebody point me in the direction

This happened to my wife, I think it was supposed to arrive in whatever the second wave was last year, but ended up coming either on the date or the day after. Handy, as I had forgotten we were moving house a few days after launch, and didn’t change the address!

I’ve had a bit of a mare with my pre-order. My first app order for delivery (paid by Apple Pay) seemed to stall and didn’t appear to go through, so I placed another order but delivery had slipped to 4th October so I placed an order for collection. That seemed to go through but nothing showed up in your orders for quite a while. I did get two email confirmations so it appears both orders did go through.

Looking through ‘my orders‘ on the app now shows both orders but only processing. I called up HSBC to see if they had put a hold on either transaction and they said they’d been flagged up as fraud si confirmed they were legitimate. They didn’t really seem to know what they were talking about but said those orders wouldnt have gone through and I’d need to ‘just place the order again’ 🙄

The orders are still showing as processing but nothing showing on my wallet transaction so looks like HSBC or Apple pay f*caked this up for me; not feeling as smug as I was yesterday.

I have about another 10 days to return my current phone, all of which is a (very!) long way of saying I need to order a pro max 256gb for delivery or collection as close as possible to release day to avoid losing loads on my trade in.

im guessing I’m out of luck but any suggestions gratefully received!
