NatWest and yup, exactly the same - although NatWest would not admit it was Apple Pay and said they couldn’t understand why it wasn’t going through. The transaction declined about 6 times in the end.

Ended up paying with my Monzo debit card over the phone with Apple
I hope NatWest realise there is an issue and fix for future.

Oh, glad you've said this! As someone who never restores from a backup and starts afresh with each new device, what's the best way forward? Temporarily remove 2FA from those accounts, download the authenticator app on the new iPhone, then enable 2FA again?
If you only use Apple stuff, in iOS 15 you can add 2FA codes to the passwords in iCloud. I have moved to this as it then syncs to my Mac and iPad via iCloud keychain.

Just a tip guys, when you checked out if it says “express delivery” it means it’s coming from the uk via dpd/dhl. If it says standard delivery it’s coming via ups from abroad. If it says postal delivery it’s coming by Royal Mail in the uk.
This is very useful information. Perhaps worth incorporating in your original post @Jinjin

Anyone know if when doing the ‘Back Up to iCloud ‘ and then ‘Restore From Backup’ on the new phone, does it also restore app positions and shortcuts you’ve set up on the Home Screen?

I don’t remember being given a choice when I put my pre-order through though?! It just automatically defaulted to Express Delivery.

Depends on the App. That's he Microsoft one has a backup to iCloud option, so as long as that is on when you DL and open the app on a new phone it will give you 2 options, to set up a new account or recover from backup. Choose the latter and it will set up the same as on the old phone.

For the Google authenticator app you'll need both devices. On the phone it's set up on click on the 3 dots in the top right and you'll get a menu pop up, choose Export accounts and follow the on screen instructions.

For the Adobe Account Access App you just need to DL and install, sign in and it will ask for a code which you get from the app on your old phone, and it will be setup and ready to go.

Tested these Friday night on my iPad Pro. Got the MS and Adobe ones working on it fine. The Google one seems to suggest it will move the accounts so you can only have it running on multiple devices like the other 2, so I'll be waiting till I get my new phone before I do that.

Don't use any other authenticator apps so can't advise on those.

Agreed :(

Here’s something to whet your appetite

Wish the gold was slightly different this year

Finally upgrading my 6S and I've ordered a 13.

Going back and forth over whether to cancel and pick up a 13 Pro, though. 😅 I definitely don't need it, but 120Hz on an iPhone finally would make it feel like a serious upgrade.

You could order both, play with both return the one you don’t wanna keep?

I’ve had an iPhone 8 Plus for four years now so there is absolutely no way I should be feeling any kind of buyer’s remorse but I woke up this morning with the unflinching urge to cancel my pre-order for the pro max 😭

Someone please reassure me that when I get this new phone it will be like night and day compared to my trusty iPhone 8! I’ve never used any of the newer iPhones, so it really is all “new” to me, all this full screen notch stuff anyway 😂

Face ID, much better camera, better display. Lol the list goes on. You have 14 days to return if opened. Give it a go! Nothing to loose!

You utter legend! Ty so much. Didn’t know you can export your accounts. I was panicking because idk what one of the codes is for, but i didn’t want to lose it just in case… haha
