I don’t think you realise how taxing the cinematic mode is on processor, memory etc. it would have to calculate all the focus information, 60 times per second, in 4k, as well as compress to HEVC, all on the fly. That’s very very taxing on any processor, let alone a mobile one. I’m convinced that’s the reason it’s limited to 1080p/30, it’s simply too much calculation needed for anything more
indeed, and even that working the A15, it will rinse the battery at it

Not sure if I made a mistake going for graphite... I always go for space grey/black, but graphite is slightly different. I was hesitant to go for Sierra Blue as it is a touch too light for me. Ideally, I'd like to have seen it in person first, but obviously not possible. I'm sure graphite will do the trick for now

I also have a quote from MM for £535 for my 12 Pro, they state I’m fully insured up to this amount with their postage methods so I may opt to use them instead. After reading a previous post on the company Argos use I did some research of my own and a disturbing number of negative reviews. MM always seem to get good mentions here.
It’s a shame Apple are only offering £450 or I’d have simply traded with them when I buy my iPhone on Friday.
