Which Model are you getting?

I got the message/notification from settings.app asking me to get ready for my new iPhone too.

I guess it’s new this year? But what an incredible piece of user experience. A simple connection from order to existing phone but means the process on Friday will be seamless for users.

Like a few others I also got the amazon email stating my estimated delivery is 8/10-11/11. I noticed their stock allocation was different than in previous years. Last year they must have had a finite stock which once sold, went to “unavailable” however this year maybe they are taking as many orders as they can and they will be sent direct from apple? Sort of like how the PS5 stock went down with amazon on launch day, they placed orders direct with Sony and we’re shipped direct from them as well, amazon were just middle men at the time.
The iPhone stock is still showing as “due to be released on Friday”, it’s strange they are announcing that if they are already pushing back the dates on early orders past the release day?

I have hope that like other orders I have with amazon, I will randomly get an email on Thursday telling me I’ll be receiving it the following day. I can’t imagine I’m that far down the queue considering I had it ordered by 13:02 and my order confirmation was in my inbox by 13:04.

Yes I also used a 10% voucher as they were only offering £505 without it. I think I’ll use MM and forget the Argos Trade-in option, I trust MM more.

Same here but I also already have a backup on iCloud so it’s possible they see no reason to offer me additional temporary storage.

Edit:
Ok to contradict me Apple have just this minute added this option in my settings screen :D

Strange but love the new weather app! Safari takes a bit of getting used to as the search bar has moved to the bottom of the screen instead of the top (although you can change it in settings I think). Can't think of anything else off the top of my head but loved the new weather app.
 
iOS 15 is good so far but only a few subtle differences in day to day use, I wouldn’t say it’s worth avoiding the update today to experience it on the 13 models as it’s really not much different.

A friend had this. Got 2 Apple Pay declines, then an email from Apple saying something was wrong, but this morning everything is fine and the Apple Pay transactions are showing as pending now without him doing anything...

I avoided all the betas, but installed the RC that dropped. I wish I hadn't. It's buggy and glitchy as hell. (Can't access Music settings, Apple Music playlists aren't updating, freezing regularly.)

I can only hope the final release today isn't the same build as the RC. :eek:
 
Anyone who has an ESR armorite on their 12 pro/12 pro max, have you got any pictures of it? I'm interested to see how it looks with the black border compared to the regular ESR protectors that are clear around the edges! Not sure which to go for for my 13 pro. Thanks!

I went for the clear one in the end - but interested to see how the black border version looks. I wonder if the entire protector is slightly larger and wraps the edges of the phone where the screen curves a little.....

I have the plain one on my 12 but bought the Armorite for the 13.
I just hope the Armorite is case friendly.
