…personally don’t see the point in the MagSafe wallets - they don’t stick to the phone strong enough they ONLY fit 2 cards.
They can hold three cards but it’s a bit of a squeeze. They are useful for stuff like drivers licenses and ID cards because if you use Apple Pay as well then you don’t need to carry a full-size wallet with you

Regarding the MagSafe Leather Wallet

Does anyone use these at all, or they just a gimmick?

I love mine. I wouldn't be without it.

I recall the initial reviews of slipping off etc. I mostly wear tight/skinny jeans and rarely experience the wallet sliding off when putting into or taking out of my pockets. I also use my phone without a case - so I'm not sure if that affects things?

I store my metal Monzo card and plastic building pass in mine. They're very snug inside. Although it's a shame the wallet itself blocks RFID - so I'm having to take my pass out to tap in etc.

I only have the V1 - I'm not sure how beneficial V2 with Find My would be for me. But I'll probably end up getting it. 🤭

They look really nifty but I totally agree with you. They are a bit pointless.
Agreed, never understood the point

A wallet is a wallet, I want my bank cards, my driving license, my other random store cards, to be able to put actual money in there aswell (for the odd time 'real' money gets used nowadays)... etc, all in one place. And something I can easily grab on the way out the house

Suppose it might be good for the odd time you go out and know you will only need 1 (or 3) specific card(s) and nothing else, or maybe you're wanting something less bulky in the pocket, but that really doesn't justify a £60 flimsy magnet to stick on your phone

Thats just my opinion though, there's arguments for and against

I use my current one everyday for two bank cards and driving licence. I think the wallet holds well to the back of the phone and I have never had it fall off. Most videos I see where people say it doesn’t stay on are deliberately letting it catch on their pocket. I guess this can happen, but by just being a bit careful I have never had an issue.

I agree. Mine has never fallen off the back of my phone

Just rewatched iJustine’s camera vid - those macro shots are bloody impressive as is the cinematic mode.

Ha yeah I watched it twice too - she did a superb job on demo'ing both the macro and cinematic modes. iJustine gets a lot of heat but she is on top of the YouTube game.

Reminds me of Shmee150 on YouTube who I think can come across as a bit of a tool using his alter ego whereas in real life Tim Burton seems a genuinely down to earth guy.

Proper macro on the 13 Pro is a world apart from the 12 Pro - it just wasn't possible.

Have put my xs max up for sale on Facebook, but if no joy i might use Music Magpie. Have got a price from then that’s not too bad…i think. £297.
What happens if I accept that and get a box from them (i assume that’s what happens) and then get a better offer from FB in the meantime?

Nothing, they'll just keep emailing you saying 'We haven't received your order yet' for im guessing 21 days, you can also log into your account and click cancel order on the selling page but I doubt it matters

They dont send you a box or anything just the QR code in an email, and then you post it off to them yourself
