Anyway fellow members it was fun hanging out with you lot today.

Time to read bed time story to my 5 year old son and then catch up on some footie which should be fun because the team i support is not playing tonight so 0% chance of my evening getting ruined by them.

Gentle whisper. I support Arsenal.

For you Music Magpiers

If I got my 'Items on the move' email today, should I expect any update tomorrow or Thursday based on your time frames?
You should get a ‘good news’ email either tonight or tomorrow saying it’s been processed by Royal Mail. Depending on cutoff times you might even get ‘order received’ tomorrow. My process was 2 days end to end (with payment the day after) but I think 3 is more common

Is anyone on EE swapping their eSIM to a new phone on Friday?
If you go into the EE app and request a replacement eSIM and download it on new device will the current eSIM remain active to get the text message required to unlock the new eSIM?
I have not done that process before and not sure if it will cause any deactivation issues.

Yes it will or you can just show the Qr Code on your old device. I detailed earlier in the thread the process.

I'll be transferring an eSIM on EE. I hope the process has improved - I can only presume so, with the integration into myEE. I had to do an eSIM transfer early last year and was forced into going back to physical SIM and then eSIM.

I might give EE a call beforehand and see what the process is - EE is my work number and can't risk being offline. Vodafone is my personal number and the process is much smoother - on the Vodafone app, you just select eSIM transfer, it does the 2FA at this point and then e-mails and lets you download the QR code. Once you scan the QR code on the new device, only then does the old deactivate. And the new active within minutes.

It’s pretty easy with the MyEE app. Detailed earlier in the thread.

Nothing, they'll just keep emailing you saying 'We haven't received your order yet' for im guessing 21 days, you can also log into your account and click cancel order on the selling page but I doubt it matters

They dont send you a box or anything just the QR code in an email, and then you post it off to them yourself

Thanks, what’s the best/safest way to send it if i don’t have the box?

It really is up to you

I wrapped my phone in some bubblewrap and put it inside a small spare box I had (in this case it was the ESR screen protector box which had just been delivered, perfect if you have one!)

I still have the original apple packaging which a lot of people use to send theirs off, but im bit of a hoarder when it comes to old Apple device boxes for some reason, found my 1st gen iPod touch box the other day which still had unused apple stickers in 😁 ...which I will literally never use 😅

And then I put that in a normal padded envelope you can buy from the post office for like 80p

Device is fully insured through MM as soon as the post office scan your QR code

I have a 13 Pro 256gb reserved for pickup at my local Apple store on Barclays 24 months 0%. Does anyone know if it’s possible to change to a different model and amend the finance agreement or do I need to start a entirely new agreement and cancel the first? If possible I’d like to try and get a Pro Max rather than the Pro.
No u have to start process again

Stop this!

Do I now need a MagSafe wallet??

What are you all doing to me?!

Hahaha ditto… all the cards I have can be in Apple pay along with reward/store cards… I’ve got an airtag in my wallet but if it works with find my.. then there goes that need… the only other thing I use my wallet for is stuffing receipts in

I’ve bought a cheap MagSafe type wallet off Etsy.

If I use it a lot I’ll consider buying an apple one. I know apple stuff can cost a lot but there’s always the odd accessory that just blows the cost/value proposition out the water and makes you wonder how it costs so much.

My normal walllet is really small with no space for notes just a handful of cards, so I think I can drop down to 2-3 cards.

EE guys

Everyone must surely get 30 Amazon deliveries a week no? I tend to reuse their boxes
