My missus now has the new iPad Mini, form factor is crazy portable & it’s a surprisingly powerful piece of tech.

The new iPad mini did tempt me I must admit. It’s a great form factor. Wouldn’t be a bad combo with my pro max and 12.9 i must admit.

still not been able to get to a position where an iPad becomes my go to. Has to be my MacBook for me but that's due to my workflow needing a terminal and desktop tools.. power points and word still works better for me with a mouse and keyboard.

maybe in a different industry it would tick more boxes

My screen protectors arrived today. Funny how the packaging doesn't mention that these are for the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Literally not a single word. Cost me around £13 on Amazon with a 15% coupon. My Apple Silicone Case in Abyss Blue should arrive Thursday too as it as dispatched today.

I'm with you. My iPad Pro 12.9 is a glorified web browser and YouTube device. Still love it. Until it runs a proper OS with windowing, real mouse and external display support etc, it will never be anything more than that. 2022 may be time to replace my 2018 iPad though

Oh sorry for not being clear; I paid the extra 100 to get the pros instead of the regular AirPods (ie. the difference between them).

Works for me along with the pencil in construction. I do wish it was a bit more desktopy though.

I still have to use a windows laptop to get access to some of the set up software for things like Rako which is a pain.

I also have the apple keyboard for it but find it clunky and don’t like it very much to be honest

I'd imagine it is due to cost savings. They can just pop various different protectors in the exact same box!

Same with my ESR Armorite for my 13 Pro and the ultra clear hybrid case, no mention at all on the packaging or sticker that it’s for my iPhone model. Having looked at both items I’m happy they are correct.

For us in the U.K. we'll move to "shipped" Thursday as they overnight-ed by DPD/DHL/UKMail for delivery from Friday onwards.
