You are right I really should have done a store pick up. I completely regret getting it posted.

It probably is in Glasgow just now it just isn't scanned. I have seen me get an item that is meant to be in the depot before because they change couriers now DPD will hand it off to Menzies now.

DPD guy came early for me, though using the transfer from old phone option is estimated to take 2 hours to complete, somewhat regretting I didn't go the iCloud restore route now.

Great service from DHL this morning.

I’ve been working away and only got back home at lunchtime. The driver called me in the morning as he wasn’t sure where my address was. It’s a new build and it’s on any maps yet. I told him I wasn’t home anyway and left it at that.

He called me back a little while later to say that the box was small enough to be posted through the letterbox. That was surprising as I thought they had to be signed for.

I’ve had real problems getting couriers to my address since I moved in but my particular DHL driver handled it exactly how you’d hope they all would.

Something about my DHL having a nominated safe place and they aren’t able to leave Apple devices. So they didn’t even try to deliver

No blemishes on mine, but I've noticed fingerprints are rather difficult to remove with a microfibre cloth! Needs a bit of breath to help wipe them off.

Hopefully it's not a widespread issue. I've tried a microfibre cloth with water and doesn't help at all.

Replacement ordered with apple - It's going to be one long month to wait.

looks like the armorite is slightly thicker then a 'standard' one? based on @RobinYerbank 's photos?

Yes, the ESR Armorite is both marginally thicker and noticeably heavier than the 'standard' ESR one. I've always had the standard with no issues with edge to edge or camera/Face ID etc. in the annual usage. This Armorite feels more solid/industrial - you will need to do something crazy to crack that glass! The black rim on the Armorite is also thin and will not impede screen visibility on the 13. To be fair, you can't go wrong buying either ESR screen protector.

They did offer in store replacement however I live quite a long way away from my nearest store so I decided to go with UPS return and redelivery.
