Haha nice! I couldn’t do that. I rely too heavily on my phone for banking and 2 factor authentication codes. I could do without a good camera for a week or so but not the other things.
I’m seriously thinking about doing exactly the same, the iPhone 7 in Jet Black would be cool to come back to each year whilst waiting for the latest. Easier to sell the current version early doors for the top price.
Haha. To be honest I like it plus I can focus more on whats going around me especially when I occasionally take train to Leeds or Manchester City Centre. My better half is opposite of me. She cant live without her iPhone hence she refused to go through the whole MM and upgrade process. Moved all banking onto her iPhone and some other stuff on iPad. Fingers crossed I hope she dont go snooping into my bank account lol.
Looked it in last weekend was trying to get the dates to match up. So I’m all good technically. Might have to use the mother’s iPhone X till launch. Don’t want to lose my £696 MM price
Had the exact same issue on the 1st gen SE I’ve been using. Gotta say the battery life is atrocious even with 93% battery health.

This has a brand new battery from apple installed a few months ago and it’s really surprising how poor the battery is!

Having said that, if I was coming from a X or 11 it would be worth the upgrade so might as well post off and burner it 🤷🏼♂️
I fully agree. It’s cool having the latest but it’s hard to justify trading a phone in after 10 months for a minor upgrade. Yeah I do regardless. My wife and I both upgrade yearly. The money we get from both of our year old phones pays for more than 1 of the new phones each year so it doesn’t seem too bad that way.

Phone was on 24 month iPhone payment plan so I always intended to upgrade at the end of the term. So my 11 Pro has been sold along with my S4 watch. I’ll buy the S7 with the proceeds and get the iPhone on a payment plan.
Im holding on until end of next week. Im currently paying £56 per month to EE for 12 PM (which includes one smart benefit and 101Gb data). I’m one of them too. I’m on a £11 SIM only plan, and the amount I sell my year old iPhone for, doesn’t end up costing much to upgrade.
