Anyone having issues with 13 connections to S6 Apple Watch?

I am trying to enable the “unlock iPhone with Apple Watch” feature for when wearing a face mask …. But keep getting “unable to communicate with Apple watch” when trying to turn it on.

phone unlocks the Watch fine, just not the other way round…. Tried repairing Watch. Both Watch and phone were set up as new.

Assuming you're planning to migrate things I'd strongly encourage you to at least get the migration running overnight because I'm currently staring at two unusable new phones with an estimated time remaining of 3 hours.

If anyone else is using device-to-device migration and is the same boat and would at least like slightly more info than the little "time remaining" estimate on the screen:

I've been poking around in the Console app with my new phone connected via USB, and if once you've got logs streaming over you do a search for "minutesRemaining", I think the amount transferred so far is bytesTransferred and the total it's planning to bring over is totalByteCount. Google will convert them into gigs for you.

Currently I'm at around 40.5GB out of just over 125GB, and that's with me sticking my new phone on top of the back of the old one in what I'm hoping is an acceptable WiFi speed/thermals tradeoff (I think it's skipping my router entirely). Seems to be going at roughly 11MB/s.

The “prioritise download” button when restoring apps from an iCloud backup does not work. The app I prioritised was literally the last one to finish downloading.

If you are ordering now it all depends on stock levels - no-one can give you a time frame.

Mine still says 8/10-11/11 I ordered it at 13:02 as well, I doubt I was that far down the list at that time that mine will actually take that long to turn up

Pro Max arrived just after 10 am screen protector straight on icloud synced coffee and all done by half 10. Do love Apple for simplicity when changing phones.

I cancelled my order with affordable mobiles after it said it was out of stock and waiting delivery, luckily it was because it was the pro max I ordered not the normal pro, which is way too big for me, GiffGaff are the only place ive seen with the pro 512gb in stock so just ordered from them now, hopefully comes by Monday... if its not a dud order
