Just noticed that the camera bump is so big that they’re cutting a hole in the top of the box now! 😂

Might be better off buying in the USA -- it should be somewhat less expensive. I have bought when visiting the USA in the past and never regretted it.

I had to try that 10 times before it would recognise and connect to my watch

Yeah I agree as I came from the 12 pro to a 13 pro max and I have hardly noticed a difference in weight

Mine did - as everything from JL I have a Waitrose very close so will pick it up with the shopping tomorrow. I also got a despatch email saying it was on its way.
I feel the need for a photo of it within a bag of veg as something different to all the house-shot boxes

It gives you an estimate on the screen once it's properly started, though obviously it'll vary depending on how much data it has to transfer and if the devices aren't that close together (it uses WiFi directly between devices).
 
Any 2020 release day IUP been in today who have an eSIM?

How much did you have to pay as not sure I’ve paid minimum payments yet with 2020 start of IUP being later.

Also how did you go about doing the eSIM transfer as I’ve read that have to have old phone still powered up for the text transfer, this is on EE.

Its just I wanted to walk in and pickup and go, but not sure can with eSIM.

Ahhh I'm using a wired macbook back up so its just showing restore in progress

I'm not using one on my 13 Pro Max...... as I'm on the apple upgrade program with AC+, if it get's scratched badly, it'll develop some "intermittant fault" and get an express replacement :)

I need to get a case and wonder if anyone can offer suggestions........

So excited to hear all the delivery and pick up stories 😎 Happy launch day all. I hope anyone with delays gets their phone soon. Can't wait to pick up mine from the store tomorrow afternoon (after cancelling my pre-order delivery from Apple 4th - 11th October)

However, as I thought I was going to be delayed getting it I haven't ordered a case.

Can anyone recommend a totally clear case (without the mag safe logo all over the back) that has drop protection - I normally order Tech21 but I probably won't get it for around 7 days so will look around to see if I can get something similar quicker.

My eldest will get my 11 pro max and my youngest will get the 10XS - so I need to swap tomorrow as they will be as excited as me 🤣

Any recommendations will be fab 😎

Bubbles are due to user error - its not the fault of the product.

Use this method for a bubble free application (if you're not using the guide) :


I would actually place a third piece of tape on the opposite side in the middle and use that to lower the protector onto the phone instead of just slapping it down like he does in the video.

I know! You’d think? I never had a problem fitting Spigen screen protectors and was extra extra careful second time but still bubbles. Will see if they disappear overnight. I’ll try and post a pic.
