I see there are a few signs of life in this thread so Good Morning to anyone still hanging around in here! I said I’d do a final graph update for posterity (even if there’d be nobody left in here to actually see it!)

As expected we went out with a bang with over 1,600 posts yesterday

Been a crazy run up to launch and the chat’s been great but it’s time for me to bail out for another year. Good luck to everyone waiting on later & delayed deliveries. I’ll probably dip in and out with an occasional reaction.

Next product launch for me will be AirPods but that doesn’t usually warrant a UK thread but I might see you guys around the comments section of the front page news.

If not, I’ll see you again in about 11 months

Don’t mind adding to it over the week… see how it varies!

If you don’t mind sending over the raw data you have now

EE eSIM transfer saga continues… after losing signal in the old phone last night around 10, still no signal on the new one this morning!
Call to EE support, only option now is either have one posted or go to a shop. Trip to the EE shop it is…

Genuine question here, what makes this screen protector so much better than other ones? I’ve been debating going screen protector-less this year due to much preferring the feel of the phone without but I must say, the praise for this has caught my interest.
One of my biggest issues with screen protectors is that you always know that they're there. No matter how perfectly it's applied or perfect the glass looks - you always know it's there.

With this Armorite, I'm honestly not hyperbolising - I can't tell I've got a screen protector on my phone right now. It blends in, dare I say the p word, perfectly. Of course only time will tell if it's durable enough and long-lasting.

p.s. starting to think I'm some kind of undercover secret agent for ESR... OH MY GOD AM I A SLEEPER AGENT!?

EE seem to be causing a lot of issues recently. Is this normal for them?

I use a screen protector to prevent small chips & scratches, not against catastrophic damage which I’d get a new screen / phone for.

Got a small nick on a phone once - wasn’t enough to justify a replacement, but *just enough* to irritate me every day afterwards …

I’ve used ESR for years & these new heavy-duty ones feel almost slicker somehow. With an Apple leather case I don’t notice it’s there, though I can see a touch of the gold steel band around the edges.

I haven’t seen anyone mentioning the same issue I’m having here in the thread, so doesn’t seem to be widespread…
I’m assuming I did something wrong on my end

100% agree with this. First time I have ever used a screen protector (since iPhone 3G) and I’m blown away by how good this ESR Amorite is!

Apple Trafford Centre we’re excellent, in and out and upgraded on iUP in a fraction over 10 mins. And kudos for Apple for handing out bottles of water to those queuing; the shopping centre was very busy and therefore very hot. The water was very much appreciated!
Manchester Arndale sadly not the same for the iUP - gave up as queues too long

Anyone in the Nottinghamshire area still struggling to get hold of a 13 pro sierra blue 128gb I have one coming via DHL today which I couldn’t cancel and will be sending it back to apple unless anyone would like to buy?

I agree! I’ve always removed screen protectors shortly after applying because I just don’t like noticing it’s there. With this one I wouldn’t know it’s there at all if it wasn’t for me applying it.

Exactly this. I try and keep my phone pristine for selling in 12 months and the screen protector keeps those micro abrasions and faint scratches off the screen. Can’t always tell but you notice when you remove the old protector and see the marks on it! (Yes the screen itself probably does a better job that the protector at avoiding those marks)

Apple didn’t even check mine when I traded it last night 😂 I know I could have got more but CPW were shut and I knew it’d end up in a drawer for months so took the easy option

For me it’s more the dust that gets through cases and scuffs the stainless steel band that annoy me other than that everywhere else’s on the phone stays pristine
Honestly, my phones get covered in brick dust, concrete you name it. My case was disintegrated and there wasn’t a mark on my phone or the band round the side.
I have to use a toothbrush to clean the speaker grills it gets that bad 😂

I had trouble with mine yesterday. 2 phones both with an eSIM installed and neither with an active line. Chat were useless, said they’d send another out or go to store. Went to store and they sorted in no time. Verified ID, issued new eSIM QR pack, installed and working in 10 mins.

Day after with sunlight and you can genuinely tell the display improvements. It's very good. Brighter, more vibrant, and so so smoother. The phone feels noticeable faster too (subtle but discernible). Glad i upgraded.

Will probably ditch this case for an Xtremeskins back protector eventually. #teamnocase

Excuse the terrible pictures from an old iPad pro

Oh well time to ship the old 12 Pro

The ESR protectors are great. I’ve used them on my 12 Pro for the last 11 months and once fitted I don’t even know it’s there. Doesn’t alter the feel or look of the screen at all. I have my Armorite version being delivered today and will fit that to my Pro Max. I already have the Pro Armorite screen protector here but a last minute change of iPhone model meant I needed to order a new set of 2.
