I’ve just purchased AppleCare+ with theft and loss for my 13 Pro.

The last 10 iPhones I’ve had (which I’ve always used case less with a screen protector) I’ve never damaged one until my iPhone 11 Pro when I dropped it and cracked the screen. I insured through SO-SURE and whilst the experience wasn’t awful, it was a right pain having to send the phone off and being without it for 4 days etc. and it literally took about 10 phone calls for the claim to be processed.

At least with AppleCare+ they’ll either fix it instantly in store or just send a new device through the express replacement service. Definitely worth it to me.

I’ve gone for the monthly option as I only plan to keep this phone for a year before upgrading to the 14 Pro next year.
If you had bought the 2 year policy, you could have just gotten a refund for year 2 when you replaced the phone in a year‘s time.

Still here too!

Off walking today so can’t wait to snap some photos. Mainly of my dogs haha.
Can’t get over the 120Hz screen. Definitely my favourite feature. And keep looking at the Sierra Blue back 😍

@sparkie1984 shame about your iPad! I checked mine and it doesn’t look like that, I’d get it replaced if I were you. Looks like a string of faulty LEDs.

Who’s still going to be getting their phones today from JL etc.? I wanna see more pics of boxes haha.

In the same way, someone should point the EE CEO at this this thread, so he can get a real world view of just what a shambles launch day he’s presiding over.
I honestly doubt they’re that bothered - in the great scheme of things “a few Launch Day nerds” being “mildly inconvenienced” is a drop in the bucket / ocean.

Whilst there may be disproportionate noise generated, most real-world folks have no idea there’s a new iPhone, or care less what day it launches.

I’m not saying it’s right, but expecting them to care is setting oneself up for a disappointment.

iPhone to iPhone transfer took around 15 mins for me - then set up my banking apps and back in business!!

Waiting for O2 to send me a 5G compatible sim now - current one still works fine so not biggie.

Only issue I had was applying the ESR screen protectors - Ive never used screen protectors before (just a case) and when applying the first protector it went on fine, but had a tiny bubble on one edge I couldn't get rid of - left it for a few hours as it was hardly noticeable, but enough for me to notice and annoy me!

So removed and applied a second protector, which was even worse.

Third, and final, time lucky though!! Spot on perfect on the third attempt. lol
Lucky there were 3 in the pack! haha :D

Where do you guys get your screen backdrop images etc from?
I haven't changed mine for years (since the 6sPlus in fact!)

Trip to JL later today after DPD drops my package.

Might go pick up one or two them reduced Apple Cases. JL not offering the full colour line up which is a shame.
Just got the very nice blue silicone one from JL for my 13 pro. £10 off apple’s price. After going for the leather last time and regretting it (looks awful now) thought I’d go team silicone.

The standard ESR protector for the 13PM doesn’t go as close to the edge as the 12PM one did. I am hesitant to order the Amorite as a replacement however as I’ve managed to absolutely nail the application on my second try, not a single piece of dust under the screen at all!

I do agree with this even with the normal 12 pro and 13 pro ones. It leaves a bit of a gap so all the dust is going right to the edges. Never mind 😅

The belkin ones are no better. They cover the screen on the 12 and not the bezel. Assume the ones for the 13 are the same
