Anyone buy from Amazon, my card has been charged but no change on the delivery date, before 26th November.
I’ve ordered a max from Amazon and I got charged immediately as well but no device so far and no change in estimated delivery either.

Well had an unexpected phone call from Three today…
I’d requested my PAC code from them when I originally ordered my 13 Pro from CW, but DPD lost that and I was then without a phone.
Decided to get the 13 mini and was happy with it, but today Three phoned me practically begging me to stay.
Long story short, got the 13 Pro 256GB with 100GB data, unlimited texts/calls for £50 a month and £49 up front.
So in total I’m paying £1249 where as if I’d just bought the phone from Apple it would have been £43.70 a month and then I’d have been paying for a sim only deal on top. So I’m paying £200 for 2 years worth of data, calls etc which breaks down to £8.30 a month!!
Very happy with that deal, my wife can now have this 13 mini and I’ll sell my 12 mini that she was going to have which should pay off most of the 13 mini’s cost.![]()
Sure it wasn’t pre auth?, no money gets taken. Amazon only fully charge when they despatch.I’ve ordered a max from Amazon and I got charged immediately as well but no device so far and no change in estimated delivery either.
I’m not sure how long ago you were with Three but they’re very good now!Except for the fact that I’ve had horrendous coverage on 3, that deal looks super. Are they offering 5G yet?

I was never without 4G coverage even in the middle of nowhere and good 3G where there wasn’t 4G. I live near Southampton and I had 5G coverage a large percentage of the time.
I only moved because Three don’t support the Apple Watch. I’m on O2 now and wishing I’d stuck with the Bluetooth only watch and had stayed with Three. It was cheaper and better.
I’m never without signal on O2 and where it’s 4G it’s good but as soon as it drops to 3G (which it does a lot) you can forget doing anything on your phone other than calls and texts. It’s usually a good signal level so I’m guessing it’s congestion. 5G? What’s 5G?
EE and Vodafone were out of the question because of their ridiculous prices. Only 10 months left until I can get back to Three!

But generally I never buy phone with carrier contract. I either buy it outright or go with Apple upgrade program. Locked down phone is not an option for me.
I work with ProRes QuickTime's on a daily basis as work in Film and Television industry. Do you need it on an iPhone? I would say absolutely not unless you specifically require it in a professional capacity to fit in with your work flow (which is what ProRes is designed for). For the average Joe just regular H264 or, even better, H265 is plenty good enough and file sizes will be greatly reduced. Is ProRes even that important? Just for the average person, they would only care about good video recording quality and not delve into post-production edits too much right? Plus transferring those large files over lightening is just going to be a painful experience.

Mine is still sitting on processed with an 18-25th delivery date. I don't expect it to come earlier than that based on the current global problems. Preorder day order, but later on in the day after work.Anyone have their Apple store order prepare to ship or anything?
I ordered my 13 pro on 26th September. Order is still due between 26th and 2nd
I have to agree. I did think about getting a Series 7 Stainless Steel Cellular model but the resell value for my Series 5 Titanium Cellular is pathetic and I can’t really justify it especially as the improvements are minimal. Maybe next year I will consider it if there are big changes in the watch.Yeah had a quick look and yes the prides look the same as the S6 which makes it even more odd apple haven’t just come out and said it.
So a 45mm titanium with leather strap would be £850! For 1mm more than my s5 titanium which is only getting ~£150 from resellers at the moment.. I just can’t do it.
They need an Apple Watch upgrade program
I didn’t know there were issues with Sky Q. I was thinking about upgrading from my normal Sky. I think I need to do more research before I make a decision on that. Will defo be avoiding that. If the quality of the sky Q boxes are anything to go by, this is not bode well.
Most technophiles and audiophiles will want dedicated equipment and glass will never compete.
I can see small uses of people in flats etc where they can’t install dishes, this can give them the option for sky q but not much above that
I’ve not read much on it yet but if I’m not mistaken you have to buy one of their TV’s. If so that’s a total no no for me. I’m very particular about what TV I buy especially as I have the PS5 and Xbox Series X to connect to it. The best ones on the market for that right now are the LG CX models.Random non apple What do people think OF SKY GLASS announcement yesterday
I don’t think the Sky TVs offer 120hz.I’ve not read much on it yet but if I’m not mistaken you have to buy one of their TV’s. If so that’s a total no no for me. All the more reason not to get one. 😃I don’t think the Sky TVs offer 120hz.
Three is ok until you go to an area with a lot of people like a gig or football game. Nothing loads then.Luckily where I live Three has been great. Never without 4G and often get 5G.
Been with them over 10 years now! Scary lol.
In fact, anywhere I’ve gone the coverage has been good.
That’s the same for all networks - just try and load a web page when you’re sitting in a football ground watching a Premiership match at half-time, when all the other thousands of supporters do the same thing at half-time. ITS IMPOSSIBLE!Three is ok until you go to an area with a lot of people like a gig or football game. Nothing loads then.
this was the reason I switched to EE. A lot better in busier areas.

I’ve just left three, I’m based in north wales and the internet speeds I get are like 3-10mbps on 4g full bars. On EE I get 120mbps.I’m not sure how long ago you were with Three but they’re very good now!
