Think it’s an utterly bizarre concept forcing the purchase of their own (rather hideous) screen. IMO Sky are in a bit of a mess really with conflicts between their Now offering, Glass, Sky Go and the regular Sky Q.
At some point it’s inevitable they’re going to need to burn the house down and start again with a unified approach across all their regions appealing to a younger audience.
I just don’t understand why they didn’t choose to leverage the existing Go offering and allow that as a standalone subscription. I’d suspect it might be because they know they couldn’t get remotely close to competing on price or technology with the big boys in streaming.
