Which Model are you getting?

I’m actually surprised you’re trading in your watch at all - Apple‘s trade-in prices for watches are abysmal!

I was going to buy the new nike band and a usb c charging cable anyway. By the time Id factored that in and the trade in cost I was £150 off the upgrade. Figured I may as well. I only ever buy the sport watches for this reason!

Has anybody had any issues with Apple Maps? Since getting my 13PM on launch day i now dont receive journey destination suggestions when it connects to my car? TIA

Guys I receive my iPhone Pro Max today from EE. I am half tempted to set it up as new - normally I hold them close and allow it to transfer - but this 12 Pro Max is sometimes slow and battery is rather pants.

Anyway, is there a way of doing this where I save the texts, pictures and watch data?

The watch data like health and fitness stuff will remain as long as it’s on iCloud. Same with pictures and texts. Check it’s all backed up to iCloud by going to settings, name, iCloud.

What WONT be brought forward if you’re setting up from new is all your apps on the watch and watch faces etc. the watch itself will be reset and be like new too.

Lucky you!
when did Apply take money from your account?
My order dispatch date 19 - 26 Oct but Apple still hasn’t take the money.

Which MagSage car mount are people using for their iPhone 13 ?

I've just seen the Belkin one on Apple's website : https://www.apple.com/uk/shop/product/HPBJ2ZM/A/belkin-car-vent-mount-pro-with-magsafe but obviously seems quite pricey for what it is (it doesn't even charge your phone).....

Thoughts ?
I agree. Very expensive for what it is.

I bought the Mous MagSafe Car Vent holder last week which also does not charge unfortunately but is cheaper and has a really solid fit, holds a Pro Max very firmly (absolutely no vibration), looks very neat and is of quality build.

it’s the most secure vent holder I’ve tried (out of several) and I’d highly recommend it.

I think you get an automatic 10% discount on your 1st order or I can DM you a 25% discount code but that requires a £60 minimum spend

Mous MagSafe Car Vent holder

....that one is only £5 less than the Belkin one so both are fairly pricey for what they are.

I'm surprised there's no official ' Magsafe Apple approved' car mount which also charges the phone? I know there are loads on Amazon but its literally a minefield with loads of manufacturers I have never heard of!!!

I believe it’s a question of getting what you pay for. I have tried several of the type that charge but not one has had the stability to give me confidence and I ended up deciding that they were cheap rubbish. Car vents are not the ideal place to mount a heavy iPhone but the Mous does it very well indeed.

Finding anything MagSafe that’s really and truly Apple approved is impossible unless it’s belkin. God knows what’s taking em so long if I’m honest. Apple seem to be dragging their heels on MagSafe - odd considering the way they made a huge deal about it!

Bought the Spigen OneTap vent mount (though I use the charger with my cd mount). £30 on Amazon. Holds the phone perfectly. Charges fast. It is a USB-C plug though.

Obviously I can’t tell you how secure the vent mount bit is, I have the vents that spin round.

And I’m using a Spigen 45w adaptor

Edit: sorry £34.99

Not 100% sure but I suspect it’s from within the UK. I don’t think UK phones are shipped from China anymore especially this late after launch date.
This is great news :D. I remember back in the day, I am talking 2005/2006 tracking my new white macbook from China via UPS. Seems like only the Americans get that these days.

That Spigen One Tap does look good however that’s over £45 when you factor in that one needs to also purchase the USB-C adaptor in addition to the main phone holder.

The Belkin actually now looks like it’s the best option!
