Plus give you £10 to cover your costs for special delivery

So your £765 includes the £10 they added? Also, can you tell me how you posted off? Did you put in a box etc and how much did it cost to past? I’ve just done the request so now have 10 days to post off. Thanks.

That combo of colours looks great (what colour is that wallet?).

Alas, I have to say that I will be switching back to my ‘Midnight’ Apple leather case this weekend - I just can’t be doing with all the lint which the silicone case seems to attract every second of the day.

I realise that I made a slight error in my post regarding the wallet.

I was actually using the last gen Apple Wallet (the one which has no ‘Find My’ functionality) on my silicone case. This version actually has a slightly weaker magnetic grab than the current gen Apple Wallet (the ones WITH ‘Find My’ functionality).

It’s the dark cherry wallet

The silicon does pick up lint, I don’t let it bother me too much- this case is a few weeks old nearly so will see how it goes over time. This weekend we’re going to the beach so it will be interesting to see how things go with sand lol

I’m on edge a little as I normally get the supcase beetle cases for holidays with port covers etc. the lack of MagSafe on those made me think otherwise.

Is it really worth selling the current iPhone this early? Not done this before.

I am definitely going to upgrade when the new one comes out in September.

Off topic but did any get the new iPad Air? If so is this enough or did you end up choosing the iPad pro over it

I think the mini sells more than we think I would say a 14 mini will be released.
You're going to be disappointed. Whilst leakers don't know everything, I don't remember a single time that the leaked device/screen sizes were either incorrect or didn't include a device size that was later announced by Apple at the usual September event.

In total it was £785. £775 plus the extra £10 for the special delivery extra

basically had to put in my own box and had to write the address they provided on manually so no Royal Mail slip. You just send it special delivery and they give you extra to cover the cost which was pretty good

think the special delivery was £7.95 I think

reviews are full 5 star on trust pilot so that put my mind at ease

Did they require the charging cable and a USBC wall socket?

OK thanks. Just packing mine up now. Resetting 13 Pro Max. I've been quoted £765 then the £10 for special delivery. Just done that on the Royal Mail website. Cost was £8.15. Dropping off at PO tomorrow. Gonna miss it!!!. Anyway, I bought a 13 mini a few months ago just to try out but ended up keeping so will have a good 6-8 weeks to give it a proper run....

My 13 Pro Max is running iOS 16. That won't be a problem if I just reset and erase will it?

I don’t think it would be a problem but for me I would downgrade it just in case.

I’m using an XR until the 14 pro max is here

With the dollar being so strong at the moment I’m concerned that Apple may well impose a significant price rise for the 14. Look what they did very recently with the MacBook Air M2 prices.

MM are currently offering £750 for the iPhone 13 PM 256GB for £750 (was £735 yesterday) have locked in for 21 days and will see what happens. Usually they have some promotional codes for an extra 10% but can't seem to find any.

Anyone sending their iPhone 13s to Argos this year ?

I used Argos last year to send off my iPhone 12 and turnaround time from sending the phone off to receiving the cash was pretty quick (just over a week actually) -and they paid the full price they quoted me (£519 - Apple iPhone 12 128GB) !

EDIT :
Music Magpie : iPhone 13 Pro 128GB Offer Price = £630.00

Argos : iPhone 13 Pro 128GB Offer Price = £510

That is pitiful on Argos's part........ o_O

Yeah this is a worry. The phones and watches seemed to have dropped in price a bit recently. I remember the XS and XS max being mega expensive!

This is the first year I’m unsure of an upgrade, with everything going on I’m not sure I can justify it!
