Back again for another pre order. I've locked in £600 at MM for my Pro Max 128gb. In all honesty i'm not sure if i'm going to upgrade this year as i'm really happy with my current phone. Think i've said that before and pre ordered anyway haha.

Looking at those pictures of the cases I hope they are fake. Having the cameras stick out so much that even the case has a bump to accommodate them is terrible.
Hate the fact that I need a case on my 11 Pro Max to stop it wobbling on a flat surface as it is
And it may be that these 13’s will not lay flat even with a case!

My 11 Pro Max might have to last another year till those beautiful 14’s with no bumps or notches come out.
Yeah I hope they are fake too. If those are the silicone cases then I will skip those. They look awful

Hmmmm, so they could "drag their heels" with the processing and offer a lower price.... especially with the 13 launch. Seems dodgy.
Not at all, believe me if they were dodgy about stuff like this, then this forum wouldn't take kindly and would be full of 'avoid at all costs!' posts, but instead its full of people always (including me last year) seeming to get 100% of what they were offered and im yet to see any post of anyone not getting what they were offered

Also you use the barcode that they send to you at the post office, as soon as they scan it you're golden, if it gets lost or they don't receive it as long as you have your post office receipt and (I think serial number??) of the phone then they will pay you the full amount offered still.

Sods law says now ive posted this none of the above will happen for me! 🙃🙃🙃
Dammit, champions league games kick-off at 5.45pm tomorrow. Going to need to multi screen the game and keynote

I know how you feel!

Although I think ill be waiting until after the football to watch the keynote, I won't be checking these forums or anything during the match so should easily avoid any spoilers.

...and id much rather watch Ronnie bag a hatrick. It means I can also fast forward the bits where Apple spend 30 minutes telling us how they now deliver the phone only in biodegradable bubblewrap to save the bees 😅

Anyone know what is going on with EE and their £100 upgrade fee as it has not been a year? Cheers
Spoke to loyalty a few days ago, they said they had a notice sent around advising they will not be waive the upgrade fee.

I'm in the same position, my year isn't up until the 1st Jan 22. Looking forward to the challenge of getting that £100 off.

I think I might have to do the same!

That IS a shame. Why would Apple design a case which wobbles on a table?! Their ‘design team’ have lost their marbles……

Clash of apple’s desire of a slim phone catching up with camera tech of today.

Whilst it will be mildly annoying I’m not going to be too bothered if it’s rocks a bit on a table

So really, there’s no real differences in going down the Barclays Finance route vs iUP other than the sum of money you pay up front on the iUP (I’m currently just starting year 2 of my Barclays Finance).
You can also pay money into the balance to reduce monthly payment amounts on finance. With IUP payments the payments stay the same amount but you pay it of earlier. And no AppleCare with finance.

IUP - money up front, bigger monthly payments ( but less to pay off after a year) and you have to do in store

24 month - can pre auth, smaller monthly payments (bigger balance left after a year), can be all done online

I'm bucking the trend of this thread and about to upgrade my first gen SE to an iPhone 12 mini as there's some great deals to be had.

Do I go for a 24 month contract totalling:

1) £687 for any colour 64GB (unlimited data plan) or
2) £783 for blue 128GB (100GB data plan)?

Decisions, decisions... is there a colour easiest to resell?

I’d go 2)

I got stung with slower speeds on unlimited whereas the capped plan was faster speeds.

Can’t believe I was doing this, this time last year and painfully waiting for release day having pre ordered. It was my first ever pre order and release day iPhone in my life!

Hope all enjoy it as I’ll be skipping this year.
I’m also tempted to skip this year (I skipped the upgrade from iPhone XS to iPhone 11 so went from XS to 12).

BUT - nothing is certain until AFTER tomorrow night‘s Keynote!!!
