Which Model are you getting?

Was it you who said it had a few marks on it or was that someone else ?
Wasn't me but I had a few scuffs and scratches around the edges and one thin scratch on the screen. It was enough for the mrs to notice and enough for me to hold my breath but it went through with no issues.

I was using an Apple leather case but no screen protector. Also sent it back in the official iPhone box as a rabbit foot good luck charm

You’ve got 21 days for them to receive and process it. Usually takes 2-3 days to arrive with them and then 2-3 days to process. 👍

Ive used them once before and all seemed to go well.

You do not need to wait for a pack. You just send the phone off to them within 21 days using the QR code emailed to you.
I place my phone in the original box - but keep the accessories - its just the handset itself they need.....

So ideally I want to send it on the 14th day, ish.....

What if you want to cancel? Just don't send it?

Cheers again

Yeah exactly. If you don’t want to go ahead the offer will expire and you won’t have to do anything.

Hmmmm, so they could "drag their heels" with the processing and offcer a lower price.... especially with the 13 launch. Seems dodgy.
They could but I’ve used them for years and they’ve always been fair to me and many others on this board. If they do offer a lower price you can decline and they’ll post the phone back to you.

Or alternatively if there is a Carphone Warehouse near you they will evaluate the phone and pay you there and then, this is what I did this year. Never mind their price isn’t very good for your phone.

I re-locked the price on 7th September (before invitation went out) and will post on 20th September (after pre-orders). Fingers crossed it will all be done with in 21 days i.e by 27th September.

Yep, they scan it at the post office generate a label and give you a tracking receipt - Posted on Wed, received at MM on Friday and processed today.

Think I'll take the Post Office option.... I use Hermes Parcel Shop a lot for amazon returns but sometimes they don't send stuff back for days after you've dropped it in.

I'm jumping back on the Apple Upgrade bandwagon .... I'm asuming pre-orders will start this Friday, 17th. When do we thing the phones will be available? sometime w/c 27th?

So just ordered an iPhone Mini from Apple Store. Will be selling iPhone 12 Pro 256GB to MM for £630. The Mini is a good test case to play around and see if I am downsizing or going 13 Pro.

Have just traded in with Carphone Warehouse .. £430 for iPhone 12 mini 128gb with 5-6 chips out of the casing (screen was perfect) but they were not bothered.

Their phone testing software isn't compatible with the beta yet though so needed to restore to iOS 14 first.

Bring on iPhone 13! ;)

Did they transfer the funds to you in store?

Anyone know what is going on with EE and their £100 upgrade fee as it has not been a year? Cheers

For those of you on EE and using an eSIM, you can order a replacement eSIM and keep it in your back pocket until your new phone arrives. No need to wait until the last minute. I've got one in the drawer I've had for a few months in preparation to use on my 13.

EE also are now doing Digital eSims via the EE app.

If I restore from backup does it restore the e-sim?

Sure this has been asked many times but I can't find a definitive answer on Google

There is a function to backup/restore e-sims but the carrier has to support it and no UK carriers do right now afaik.

Nope, best way to go about this is....

1) Setup iPhone with your usual physical Sim Card
2) Download EE app and do a SIM replacement for the second line
3) When choosing the type of Sim, select eSim.

Last time I did this, it did not work via the EE Website. I got through the process, when I clicked download QR Code it did not work.
