Will have a proper look when I get home

only issue is there doesn’t seem to be any experience with them so they could easily reduce their offer over a minimal thing, whereas MM are proven to pay what they offer..
Yes my exact worries too…. I’m note the ill mull it over at home if so I need to be sending my MM order by tomorrow so I need to think quickly

It works for me - just followed it all the way through to the end, You get given an 'Order Number' for the pre-paid parcel they will send out.

I am a little suspect though as there is no mention of the £519 pounds they will offer for my 128gb iPhone 12 other than on the very first page - not even on the confirm page....?!

Hmmmmm - too good to be true perhaps................
🤔
I got an email which confirms the amount

It also has it in the confirmation email, at least it says the estimated value in mine.

anyone see in the pre-pre order process where you can add a quantity?
I need to get 2 for work... but can only do one at a time therefor 2 separate pre pre orders

My experience with MM is very much not that. I've had them come back to me with hugely reduced offers on two occasions when I've sent in tech items, for what I would consider pretty quibbling reasons, certainly not reasons that justified the 50% and more reduction in their offers. On both instances I've got them to send it back and sold on eBay for what moreorless what I wanted from MM, so I'm definitely happy to try this new Argos offer this time around.

MM have always been very good on books, games, DVDs etc, I should say.

So I had confirmation from argos about the trade in being in the works. £601 for my iphone 12 pro 128gb.
I'll wait to receive their return pack and go from there... hopefully I'm not sending my phone off to somebody for free

Case and screen protector are here. Just need the phone now!

I was hoping to find some reviews with some real pictures of the devices as apples are obviously styised for marketing and the colours are often different in the flesh.

Also wondering wether to get the pro now too.

I'm gambling on this Argos trade in as its too good to resist. Their FAQ section also mentions an option to extend the 14 day quote period by an additional 7 days by logging into your account. Pretty useful if there's any delivery delays!

I got my pre-order ready on the app and it worked great, is there a way to view it on apple.com? I can't see it on there.

Amazon Prime came through with the ESR Armorite screen protectors.

Have to say the word ‘premium’ springs to mind with both the packaging, unboxing experience and the actual Armorite’s. You get 2 in a pack and they feel high quality. These are not the lightest screen mind, they’re industrial strength for glass!

To me, these are a massive step up in terms of quality from ESR compared to their standard protectors. The black border around them is much thinner than the 12 Pro Max. I predict an easy alignment onto the 13, comes with the usual ESR accessories to help the installation process.

Definitely worth the £13.59 I paid for them.

Let’s hope they now fit my 13 Pro Max with no issues.

Would love to see Jerryrigeverything do a test on these Armorites!!

@johnyslats you’ll like ‘em, worth the wait!

@CD3660 worth the purchase, especially with the Amazon business discount price & extra 15% off.

It appears the site is owned / run by 'LIKEWIZE SERVICES UK LIMITED'... googling the name it looks like they rebranded as this from Brightstar and brightstar were / are the trade in service for Apple? I think anway.
Sounds like ‘Argos TradeIn’ is Apple in disguise, offering better prices than through their official trade in scheme? Lol

So a branded Argos site for trade in using third party company. Their who is information isn;t very descriptive.

What should I do suddenly my faceid doesnt work on my pristine iphone x 256 can I still get £224 that argos is quoting?

Has anyone ordered from a carrier (EE in particular!) on pre-release day?

Did you get it delivered on launch day? Guessing collection in store isn't an option!

Case arrived a day early! Love the colour. Shame about the small blemish on the lower right.

Hi

This looks a lot darker than it did on the apple website .. I’ve just ordered this and will return the dark cherry which was nice but not quite as purple as I love .. still wish they did the violet that they did a few years ago!
