Spigen Mag Armor for 13 Pro arrived from Amazon today

£19.99 with a 20% off voucher

Feels really solid but strangely soft to touch (not hard plastic)

MagSafe charger attaches well to it

I'm really stuck on what colour to go for. Typically love silver but the gold is tempting me. Anybody got a Gold 12 Pro? How you liking it?
My wife had the Gold 12 Pro for the past year. She liked it but she's got a bit sick of it now. I was tempted by it too but it can be a bit blingy.

I've saved my pre-order on the app - will be paying up front via Apple Pay. Is there really much benefit to doing it this way rather than the usual add to favourites option? lol

if its bright star under the covers of this Argos trade in, then I used them earlier this year (through Apple) to trade in my MBP... had one issue where they downgraded it but the report said there were no issues with the device.. had to call them to ask and the said it was a 'glitch' and added the difference back on.

those who are sending stuff in, make sure its fully insured!

Does anyone have any experience pre-ordering as part of their upgrade with Three? I can’t seem to find a solid answer online whether or not this is possible.

Ideally I would like a phone on launch day as my 11 is on deaths door… So unsure whether to risk this route or just try directly from Apple and go sim only.

that's the bit I'm unsure of... are they charging cards before Friday?

If the process is the same as for those who have pre-auth'd the finance, it just makes the checkout steps really quick from when the store re-opens

I have one single issue - tomorrow at 1pm, I will be en route driving towards Sussex (son starts Uni) so I can't realistically pull over and say to the Fam ".....sorry, just need to pre-order an iPhone!!".

What are the chances of the blue 13 Pros still being available later on in the day (I'm only asking in light of this new Argos deal thing - DAMMMM YOU ARGOS!!!!!!!!!!!!) ?

No charges are made during the "Get ready stage". It literally just asked if I was paying by credit/debit or Apple Pay. It didn't load up an Apple Pay sheet or anything to select a card.
I'm unsure how much time it will actually save...
I feel like if I'm ordering two it might be quicker to add both to basket from my favourites and put it through that way...

Took you an hour and 20 minutes to crack and change your mind 😂

Pre ordered a 13 max pro 256 in blue with apple clear plastic case so you can see the back , looks nice 👍🏻 on line

I was going to go for bigger size but realised my 8 plus has 256 and thanks to iCloud and offloaded apps I’m only using 40 !

I bought the following screen protector, is it any good , any other recommendations ?

Stop off at a petrol station to "have a break from driving"?

Yeah it's a tad confusing - even though I chose Apple Pay as my payment method, there was no mention of which of my Apple Pay cards or about shipping, so not entirely sure it'll be all that quicker than the usual method.

I can understand the benefits for the people paying by instalments though.

that's more than a legitimate reason to pull over!

Argos also have an option to extend the time frame in which to ship your device to them by an additional 7 days, once you log into the account using the details in the confirm email. So I guess that's the initial 14 days plus another 7 on top that your quoted price will be valid......
