Thanks for the pics. Something to compare against when my imports arrive 😂 Should’ve just waited for Amazon. Will have only saved a couple of quid for my troubles IF they’re genuine!
Yeah hopefully yours will be genuine! You can compare with mine when you the import arrives, just send back if your not 100% happy.

This time, I wasn't really sure what to expect, even from Amazon, but as it must have been from the legit ESR store its worked out all fine.

Amazon Prime came through with the ESR Armorite screen protectors.

Have to say the word ‘premium’ springs to mind with both the packaging, unboxing experience and the actual Armorite’s. You get 2 in a pack and they feel high quality. These are not the lightest screen mind, they’re industrial strength for glass!

To me, these are a massive step up in terms of quality from ESR compared to their standard protectors. The black border around them is much thinner than the 12 Pro Max. I predict an easy alignment onto the 13, comes with the usual ESR accessories to help the installation process.

Definitely worth the £13.59 I paid for them.

Let’s hope they now fit my 13 Pro Max with no issues.

Would love to see Jerryrigeverything do a test on these Armorites!!

@johnyslats you’ll like ‘em, worth the wait!

@CD3660 worth the purchase, especially with the Amazon business discount price & extra 15% off.
Very positive news. Thanks for posting. Glad I ordered some earlier.

We should be on a list.

“Yeah - no need to remind those guys”

“Why didn’t you say you were with Max Rumors!? Come on in early!”

Personally, I’ve gone with the Spigen Liquid Air for at least my last 2 iPhones, and recommended it to others who also use it.
it feels grippy, thin, but offers drop protection (dropped on the patio a couple of months back with no issue).
Here it is.

I'm really stuck on what colour to go for. Typically love silver but the gold is tempting me. Anybody got a Gold 12 Pro? How you liking it?
Got bored of it in the 12PM and a bit too blingy, going for Graphite as the “different” colour (Sierra Blue) is worse.

Something to think about if like me you have been weighing up whether to go directly with Apple / 0% finance or take advantage of one of the work perk discounts e.g. 20% off EE contract price; the CPI (inflation) rate is rather high at the minute at 3%. Network providers increase your monthly bill by CPI + 3.9% each year. If the rate of inflation continues this way, potential for 7% price increase in your contract come next March/April which will make your 20% discount nearer 12-13%.

I've done my calculations and based on the SIM only contract I have, it makes more sense for me to go directly with Apple for the handset.

How easy is it to pay off the existing loan with Barclays - can you just call them up and pay it off ?

I'd like to know this too - Ive financed this year just for the hell of it, but I understand if I pay a chunk early the monthly payments stay the same but the term is shortened?

Is it just a quick phone call, or can it be done online??

more importantly... can't beat the feeling buying direct!

(plus the aftercare is top notch)

Nice investigation there Sherlock!

I also stick with my sim only plan and just get them to apply loyalty discounts every year!

Did somebody post a pic of the Midnight leather case earlier - is it more of a black colour or a blue colour (ideally looking for a blue-ish case but not a fan of the silicone ones as they are fingerprint and dust magnets) ?

Can the new plan with Barclays be done online (for the iPhone 13) or is it in-store only (thinking I'd like a delivery this time instead of a pick up but if the Barclays plan needs setting up in-store then I'll have no choice but to go and collect) ?

I’m on ee and ready for upgrade thinking about taking it out with them anybody with ee taking one out with ee?

I've locked in a trade-in with Argos, £601 for 12 Pro. Feels a bit too good to be true but I won't send it off until I have my new phone so in that time I can decide whether they look reliable enough to use, or go with the lower price I have locked in elsewhere
