Now here’s a tip for you boys, girls and non-binary individuals out there. Costco are now taking pre-orders for iPhone 14 Pro etc and there is a saving! For example the iPhone 14 Pro 128GB is £1,069.99 rather than £1,099 from Apple. A saving of £29.

N.B. I originally posted thinking this was a Pro Max at a saving of £129. I got so excited that I almost had palpitations! Sorry!

Don't know if anybody else has mentioned this yet, but John Lewis will be taking orders online for the new phones from the 15th Thursday next week. Might be a typo, but if not that means online order for next day delivery/store collection, on top of in-store purchase on the 16th.

Series 8 Watches also available from the 15th on their website/app.

This will be correct you can normally order the day before with John Lewis then the best option would be in store click and collect next day.

My Watch has now gone to preparing for shipment overnight 😅 Now I can relax until Thursday dispatch 😂

Morning all, quick question can someone post a link to the ESR screen protectors that have been recommended? Also, are iPhone 13 Pro & Pro Max screen protectors likely to work on this years Pro range? I’ve got loads sitting around. Thanks

I'm not seeing any links to the 14 Pro Armorite screen protectors. Maybe somebody else can post?

The 13 Pro and 14 Pro have different earpiece cutouts. Technically the 13 Pro protector will fit, but it will leave some of the screen exposed. Somebody posted a 13 Pro vs 14 Pro screen protector side-by-side comparison earlier in the thread.

I agree. You will see the corners blacken and look dirty. These days I buy a black Apple leather case so that you don't see the degradation. Looking at my black case from last year it looks almost mint. Leather gives the phone reasonable protection, looks good and doesn't add much to the size of the phone. It slips into a pocket easily too.

Carphonewarehouse have finally added the iPhone 13 to their trade-in tool. Currently £600 for a 256GB 13 Pro, which is £30 more than MM.

Some Currys do the trade-in whilst you wait, and they send the money by faster payment.

Picked up my storm blue silicon case yesterday for the pro max from Regent street store. Their staff all looked at me like I just discovered fire as they brought out a case for the 14 pro max…then all looked shocked when I told them I preordered the phone Watch and AirPods 🤣 was quite a sight

It seems like on the Apple Store the Pro iPhones have been the most popular as with both the 14 and 14 Plus models still available for delivery on launch day

Where the pros are into late October for delivery

Sounds to me they have not seen as much demand this year then if they are shocked you’ve bought it. I wonder if the price hikes have affected demand?

I’ve ordered the ultra tough glass-free one which covers the whole screen and also the esr armorite…gonna see which one I prefer!
