iPhone 3G was my first too! Back when it was exclusive to O2, so I got the phone from an O2 shop. Albeit this was a month or so after launch.

Apparently I did the same, because I just found this relic while going through old stuff!

@lyesbkz reading your doc there looks like you had unlimited data on O2! Back in the day what a rarity

When the iPhone first came out you could only get it on O2 and with a special iPhone contract which was always unlimited data, it was the internet phone after all. I had the original iPhone and the 3GS with this. Then it changed when they opened it up to all carriers.

Do we have a media section of this thread? I wanted to see pics of all the leather cases that people have bought. I don't know how far back it is. The colour on the packaging is different from the case so these pics would help a lot.

Yeah. Have to keep in mind that, back in the days of 3G, people probably weren't managing to burn through hundreds of GBs of data a month! I wonder what the average data use was on these phones.

Before the iPhone there was the almighty Nokia N95! Kept that for 3 years before eventually getting the iPhone 3GS.

I doubt this is true. I think the phone's sensors can tell if you're in a fast moving vehicle even if you haven't set yourself in any mode. Unless you have a source for this?
I heard this on a podcast, either one from Relay FM or ATP - in any case, the link from Apple here didn’t indicate a need to enable the Driving focus mode so that’s good.

Thanks for advising.

Good morning everyone, if you’ve been running the betas of iOS 16 or watchOS 9 now would be a good time to remove the beta profiles as tonight iOS 16.1 and watchOS 9.1 betas could come out. Have a great day 👍
