Don’t think I could even contemplate starting from scratch. Just installing all the apps manually, creating all the home screens, focuses, biometrics across all the apps, notifications, etc…..

If you go to iCloud and there's a green on button next to an app does that mean that that app is backed up to the cloud?

I always set up manually - iCloud keeps the most important config.
The rest takes about half hour, registering Apple Pay cards, re-pairing watch etc.

Also, I have had ZERO folders for the last umpteenth months, so will factor that in as well 😂

I have loads of folders across two home screens in normal focus and then 1 Home Screen in sleep focus and one when driving.

Don’t understand the setup from new business. iCloud backup only backs up the important stuff. Cache/temp data etc doesn’t get backed up. Even the apps re-install from the App Store and are not part of the backup.

I have always restored from backup and have never had a single issue or unaccounted for space used.

In the past the 2nd batches have started moving to PFS on the day of release of the first batch. Hopefully you’ll see updates Friday!

Nope. Neither did I.

If you hold on the page dots you can add new pages. You can then add apps from the app tray even if they are on other pages. Then go into the focus and you can choose which homepages are visible.

Just downloaded iOS16 ipsw file for iPhone 14 Pro. Will perform dfu restore and do a clean setup. Not transferring all the beta gremlins from backup onto new device.

Yes. Apps are all lined up under my purchases lol. Photos, contacts,reminders,calendar,messages,shortcuts, homekit etc is all there on icloud.
