another off topic but does anyone use a nike sports loop for their watch?

looking for a band for use when working out etc (over the leather one). Is fabric/woven of sports loop more difficult to maintain than a silicone band/loop?

always found it easier to wipe and clean the silicone sports band when I had my S5, but I do like the look of the Nike sports loop (here)
I love my black Nike sports loop, I wear it all the time with my (now ancient) Series 3. It's still in great condition a couple of years down the line with very minimal maintenance. I tend to pop it in a clothes wash every few months (in a sock!) and it comes out like new once left to dry naturally.

Is it normal for the Order listing page not to show my order as Delivered.
Both arrived Friday, Saturday last week but the page still shows Arriving?

Did they arrive by Royal Mail rather than courier?
If so, even though they are usually sent by a tracked service, it doesn't link with the Apple Store system and never shows as delivered. My AirTags still show as Arrives 7 Jan (2022!).

Anyone else upgrading on O2? They told me all preorders show as no stock when tracking - is this the case? Wonder when we can expect to see delivery estimates from O2?

ah good to know! I think I'm going to have to go into a store and check them out against a SS graphite.. can then also see how the ultra straps fit on the 45mm

I've decided to take annual leave / holiday on Friday. I wouldn't have bothered just for delivery given would have been working from home that day anyway. However I originally had Monday booked as holiday and we are getting that now as a closure day for the funeral. So a nice long 4 day weekend which in some way will make up for catching covid during my last holiday in August 😢

Hoping for an early delivery from DPD though usually deliveries on my route don't leave the depot until 2pm. They may be earlier if they have additional deliveries to get through but planning to finish painting my home office so I'll have something to do to pass the time.

Car also going in for service and MOT on Friday and would pick an MOT pass over an early iPhone delivery! I've only driven 378 miles since last year so getting harder to justify keeping the car if it costs me more money.........

I work from home all the time which makes it much better for waiting for deliveries as at least I can keep an eye out for the courier, very good point for a car I have a 70 plate Mini Clubman which moves about 2 miles a week but need a car but don't need a car.

I’ve ordered a Spigen EZ fit glass screen protector for my 14 PM, but just spotted this: 🙄

I ordered one of these but for the 6.1 Pro which arrived today, from the video and found a yoiutuber who tested it also and it looks pretty much foolproof.

That super-narrow title font is absolutely horrible! The logo is gross, the colour palette is yucky and the layout is a mess. 🤢

I don’t mind it, only looked on iPhone but just looks like they are imitating a magazine style design but trying to keep a website form… don’t think it’s that awful but I guess it’s subjective 🤷 love the logo font though

urgh, not a great DHL experience today. missus had an item expected. driver pulls up outside the property, sits there for a few minutes and then drives off... she's not got an email saying no one was in! I've got it on camera he never left his van!

hopefully not the same on Friday!

Anyone know if it’s possible to change a collection time slot for Fri
It doesn’t matter, once you get the email confirming the item is ready to collect you have around 7 days to collect it. A couple hours here and there doesn’t matter. You can even go earlier once you’ve got the confirmation it’s ready to collect

I didn't before but work from home most days now since pandemic. At most / on average I go in one day a week.

My car is our second car but also was my 'realistic' dream car. Its a 65 plate Mercedes SLK and not made anymore. Unless I win the lottery that I do not participate in and can buy a classic 1970 Merc SL its my fave for now.

Plan was/still is to keep it for a long time so looking after it and keeping it fairly low mileage but never anticipated when I bought it in 2018 that my mileage would be this low!! Also things might change and I might go back to being on site more. I am sure I'd regret selling it if I did.

Definitely don't sell it if there is zero need to.

As a former SLK owner I concur. Though, when the Ukraine war kicked off and nuclear annihilation seemed possible, I did go out and buy an A35. I work from home so it’s not used much, but I do not regret it. 😂
