What happened with the dude who had a DPD notification for delivery today by Sky? any update there?
I think there was an update and it’s now expected on Friday.
I had to turn that off because it was turning on whenever my phone was lying on my desk automatically. Was really quite annoying and a bit embarrassing in Zoom etc calls - maybe they've fixed that in future betas because I think I turned it off around beta 2.
The infuriating sensitivity of it reminds me of when I'm in the bath, with my phone right next to me on the floor, and whisper (so quietly I'm not even sure if sound came out of my mouth) "Hey Siri, what's the weather?" and then the HomePods in the living room - which are through three doors and round two corners - respond instead (inaudibly because they're so far away).
This year ive decided once my iPhones are here and all set up. Im going to take a break from this forum.

I think I might be able to with the second order I made. However, I tried to cancel that order and ended up requesting that order be returned. At the moment I still don’t know if that phone (pro) is going to show up on Friday.
I’ve decided that I’m keeping the pro max - regardless I think I’m going to take a hit 😭
I have just called EE about my order. For information I ordered at around 4:30 on Friday over the phone. I ordered the Apple Watch SE and upgraded to the iphone 14 pro max.
At the time of the call the site was showing that the silver 128GB (which I was ordering) was going to be despatched within 14 days. It did not say on day of launch. However the gentleman on the phone told me that both the watch and phone would be delivered Friday.
On my call with EE just now, the lady told me the watch has been picked but the phone essentially hasn’t. She said it should be delivered Friday, if not Tuesday though (not sure I believe her).
This is my 3rd year upgrading and normally everything is fine and it arrives on launch day but with ordering late due to work, I expect mine won’t arrive on Friday unfortunately. Order is still showing as ‘order confirmed’ on the tracker. Praying it changing to ‘dispatch expected with 24hrs’ but I doubt it will.

Not caught up yet but has anyones ‘arrives’ thing changed on apple? Mine said i was getting it on the 16th but now it says “arrives” (No date mentioned) then tells me they will let me know when it ships, due to Covid 19 blah blah blah we recommend visit track shipment for the most up to date info.

Info on EE website suggests there are delays with Pro Max. Normal Pro's arriving as normal it looks like, even if placed the order today.
How is the nest Wi-Fi? I think I saw an article on the verge about a new version supporting Wi-Fi 6E coming out soon. I might buy it when released.I went a bit nest crazy when I bought my new place a few years ago. Have the nest wifi with 2 additional access points. Works reasonably well but went a bit pear shaped when setting up the sky q minis. The nest is pretty dumbed down, can’t even select your own channel… similar with sky the mesh sky q uses for the mini network, both clashed on the same channel and frequency. Luckily managed to find hidden settings on the sky to change it so things improved.
Was ready to go all in with 6E wifi and get https://www.netgear.com/uk/home/wifi/mesh/rbke963b/ but coming in at £1500 is painful!
Ironically spending that amount on a mobile phone is less of an issue

Some people have got iPhones early. One guy went to the depot and it was given to him a few years ago.
