Just this second got notified on my app that they have received the order instruction and the phone will be delivered tomorrow!

Nothing from DHL yet for me :(

Just got my DHL notification for my watch strap, so those waiting for DHL notifications for their iPhones should be getting them also.

Using DHL to deliver a watch strap seems excessive like.

Based on their stance they would refute any photographic or video evidence - at least with ebay you might stand a chance if a buyer challenged you but as MM is the buyer they have all the power. This is a well-oiled machine on how to handle claims that are contrary to their "findings", some I imagine are spurious. Their word on its condition is absolute and final and it's either Accept Offer or Decline Offer. I know how to present my point calmly and eloquently but they just shut you down - to the extent the agent just Ended the Chat abruptly and said that was their position, end of.
Do you have AppleCare+ or another insurance? You could take it back, repair it and resell it elsewhere for a different price. I don't think that amount would be worth threatening with legal action, but I am not a lawyer.

I thought blue and red could have made (deep) purple but nooooo you had to go on the offensive again…

But jokes aside - it’s really hard to watch City be so great and seemingly create a Ferguson-esque dominating era.

As far as United are concerned my heart very much matches my phone currently en route - space black 😉

It really is special to watch, I'm lucky enough to go home and away and I'm going to the away match in Dortmund next month - I'll be sure to test the camera out with photos and videos of the Yellow Wall!

Music Magpie - ABSOLUTE CROOKS

I know others have had good experiences but I have been well a truly conned by them and now out of pocket by a huge amount.

I sent them an immaculate iPhone 13 Pro Max, I mean absolute mint condition, almost as perfect as the day I bought it from Apple. High-quality Tourras screen protector installed on the day I purchased it, always in a shockproof case, I even had a camera lens protector installed as I am so OCD about my tech. Never dropped and never mishandled, literally no scratches on stainless steel case apart from normal "micro Scratches" and even they were minimal. If I received my iPhone as refurbished I would have been made up - hell it still had 100% battery health.

I sent it so highly packaged - in the original Apple box which I taped shut, that was wrapped in bubble wrap and taped, then placed in a box and parcel taped within an inch of its life.

After rather suspicious delays between delivered status and they received it and after an inspection found the screen chipped, scratches on the screen, and a crack. Offer reduced from £700 to £143 as they deem the damage that bad. When challenged they have shown me photographic evidence and I can swear that the screen they showed was not the screen that was on my phone. My screen had zero scratches due to the screen protector and no chips - I closely inspected it at the point of despatch and polished it with a lint-free cloth. I reiterate that it was the definition of mint condition. Further, it was so over-packaged that I cannot see how it could have been damaged in transit.

I am devastated (strong words but it's how I feel) - I have zero recourse as they claim that's the phone they received (possibly it is but something amiss has happened in the meantime). There is nothing I can do but reject their offer and receive a damaged phone back that I swear has a screen on that is not mine. Resale value is now hugely impacted, this is not the phone I sent them, and I am out of pocket by a huge amount. They will not entertain any liability and just say that's the phone I sent - the IMEI number matches.

What can I do - seems to be absolutely nothing.

Really sorry to hear this, awful experience. Can’t imagine how angry you are! Any photos of the condition before packing and sending as that could assist with a claim via Royal Mail potentially. However even in transit it would not get that bad.

I think they have mixed your phone up with someone else’s.

Need to fight and provide as much evidence as possible.

Who is gonna be first to post a pic of their shiny new iPhone 14 tomorrow I wonder?

Place your bets.........

If you did have photos/video of its condition prior to sending it, I’d be writing to their head office with that as evidence saying it was damaged in transit which is not your responsibility and not accepting the response of their live chat advisor who probably doesn’t care.

From what you mentioned earlier, it doesn’t seem like you took photos etc. like you would have done usually if you were selling on eBay etc. so you’re in a tough spot and I feel for you 😔
Kicking myself for not but based on reports of their reputation I didn't think it would be necessary.

I honestly don't see how it could have got that damage in transit so I am left to conclude two things:

1. Dropped when unpacked.

2. Someone along the line has a side hustle of swapping out good screens for bad for some reason - sounds kind of wild but I cannot think of any other scenario. I mean, they have the in-house skills to do that.

What can I do, basically nothing as they will have this all covered in T&C's so I'm over a barrel.

Well im picking mine up really early tomorrow. Plan to do an unboxing for Gold, Space Black and Purple so if you're still undecided, be sure to check that out!
photos of queue, in store experience, making sure you ask if they have walk-in stock and report it all back here before you leave with your phones!
