Well that’s not true as someone else on here even posted the same earlier today 😄

It says due to be delivered on Friday in my orders history.
I was talking about it being shipped...has it? Have you been charged already? Mine (amazon.es) says it will be delivered at most Wednesday 21, but according to info I gathered it will be between Saturday 17 and Monday 21, with the shipping emails being sent tomorrow night

Right, 46 pages to get through. Let’s see how you all got on. Placing this marker to see how long it takes to catch up!

Oh no not yet (I’m doing the 5 monthly payments thing so not sure if that makes any difference in terms of when they take the first payment)...I think most people seem to have date pending when they check their orders so mine is slightly different.

Ok, so we are probably all in the same boat. I´m 90% confident we will get them at most Monday 19

Anyone who had DHL last year, are there any delivery options like leave with neighbour or depot delivery? I’m most likely going to be out at work tomorrow when it arrives as I was hoping for DPD as they are always after 4pm here which would’ve been fine.

First world problems ehh 🤣
I always get them in my area unfortunately (I prefer DPD) and they pass it to a local delivery service using the DHL brand I think. So no, never had the opportunity with them.

Maybe they have changed so I'll see.

So basically it depends on your area, some people get live tracking when they are next, I never do.

Oh well, making someone stay in anyway.

Might just return my Series 8. Judging by the reviews, no difference whatsoever. Crash detection is useless for me and the temperature stuff probably wont apply to me. Only valid reason for me to buy would be resell value for the S9. Might just stick with my S7.
Yea I was looking at upgrading from my S4 but I feel there's still not enough there and my S4 is still going like a champ. Granted its lost some Battery capacity but I'm still getting a full day out of it plus the resale value for the watches are crap so may as well skip the 8 and go another year and use the money to upgrade the Airpods

Music Magpie - ABSOLUTE CROOKS

I know others have had good experiences but I have been well a truly conned by them and now out of pocket by a huge amount.

I sent them an immaculate iPhone 13 Pro Max, I mean absolute mint condition, almost as perfect as the day I bought it from Apple. High-quality Tourras screen protector installed on the day I purchased it, always in a shockproof case, I even had a camera lens protector installed as I am so OCD about my tech. Never dropped and never mishandled, literally no scratches on stainless steel case apart from normal "micro Scratches" and even they were minimal. If I received my iPhone as refurbished I would have been made up - hell it still had 100% battery health.

I sent it so highly packaged - in the original Apple box which I taped shut, that was wrapped in bubble wrap and taped, then placed in a box and parcel taped within an inch of its life.

After rather suspicious delays between delivered status and they received it and after an inspection found the screen chipped, scratches on the screen, and a crack. Offer reduced from £700 to £143 as they deem the damage that bad. When challenged they have shown me photographic evidence and I can swear that the screen they showed was not the screen that was on my phone. My screen had zero scratches due to the screen protector and no chips - I closely inspected it at the point of despatch and polished it with a lint-free cloth. I reiterate that it was the definition of mint condition. Further, it was so over-packaged that I cannot see how it could have been damaged in transit.

I am devastated (strong words but it's how I feel) - I have zero recourse as they claim that's the phone they received (possibly it is but something amiss has happened in the meantime). There is nothing I can do but reject their offer and receive a damaged phone back that I swear has a screen on that is not mine. Resale value is now hugely impacted, this is not the phone I sent them, and I am out of pocket by a huge amount. They will not entertain any liability and just say that's the phone I sent - the IMEI number matches.

What can I do - seems to be absolutely nothing.
Check the IMEI number when it gets back to you. If its a different phone claim from them for the full value of your offer, as they have lost yours. If its your phone threaten them with a case via Money claims Online (its the small claims court). If you can prove you sent a pristine phone, and they damaged it you should be able to claim the full offer value plus the small fee from mco.

They’ve shown him photos with the IMEI and it matches his.

Just had an email regarding my trade in and to make sure its taken to store tomorrow but thats it really.

Do you hand your iPhone in at the store? I've had an email for mine and it says they are sending out packaging and I have 14 days. Is that normal practise?

Based on their stance they would refute any photographic or video evidence - at least with ebay you might stand a chance if a buyer challenged you but as MM is the buyer they have all the power. This is a well-oiled machine on how to handle claims that are contrary to their "findings", some I imagine are spurious. Their word on its condition is absolute and final and it's either Accept Offer or Decline Offer. I know how to present my point calmly and eloquently but they just shut you down - to the extent the agent just Ended the Chat abruptly and said that was their position, end of.

You could try small claims caught but again you would need evidence that they or RM caused the damage.

Time to 'escalate' the issue. How can they categorically prove it wasn't damaged in transit - for the phone screen to be chipped and scratched would take either a very sharp pointed item damaging the parcel or it to be dropped without any protection to it. Doesn't add up and frankly, just because they don't deem it to be damaged in transit doesn't mean it wasn't - from a legal perspective.

But also from a legal perspective it doesn’t mean it was

Slightly worried about this MM issue !

I have a £725 offer from MM for me 256 13PM - was planning to drop it off at Asda on Tuesday which is well before my 21 days ends.

I also have a rebuy offer for £733 which was due to be collected on Monday (I guess will be rescheduled) but I favoured MM just as I had never heard of rebuy ahh not sure what to do! 🤔
I can recommend rebuy, used them 3 years running. Custom packaging to protect the phone during transit and DPD collection & delivery to them. Payment same day normally too.

I'm assuming most people's Amazon order looks like this? with no estimated delivery date?

or do most people at least have that?
