Who is Dino

We’ll have to save that story for next year now.

Device to device restore done with no issues as always.

eSim wouldn’t transfer after the restore so just downloaded from app and set up that way.

Fully up and running so get to have a proper play.

Anyone else been having difficulty activating an EE Esim? Ive scanned the QR code in the app with my new phone and it just says activating and then after about 20 mins it says activation failed.

Cheers!

Edit - Nevermind, tried through the EE website and it worked fine.

What twitter client are you using? I was loving TweetBot until V6 came with a subscription...
Tweetbot as well, don't mind paying for something which is better than the official version, pay for Apollo (Reddit) as well.

DPD slot of 1pm - 2pm in Manchester. Driver was parked at the top of the street for five minutes at 12.55 and arrived dot on 1pm. Apparently, they're absolutely not allowed to deliver before the slot. This kind of makes sense, unless you're stood at the window waiting for your iPhone!
Everything transferred easily (including two watches), O2 work e-sim took about 10 minutes and the banking apps were awkward as ever (the corporate ones especially).
Final thing to set up is my AutoWatch Ghost immobiliser link to the car. Too traumatic to do it today though - don't want to risk bricking the car.
Phone is great and I'm loving my island.... (Space black Pro Max is very sexy - no wonder it's leading on the poll - it's a great choice). The always on display is a bit disconcerting though - it makes me think something is wrong every time i look in the direction of the phone.

I keep getting billing error e-mails about Applecare purchased with the phone though (they quote a payment card that's unrecognizable, which is really odd). So i did it manually on the phone.

Got phone at 09:00, just got home from work, did a device to device transfer all good except the bloody banking apps but other than that, I'm set up. Took about 20 mins.

just checked and AC+ purchased with the phone (via Barclays) has correctly shown the expiry date now on the phone (as 15/09/2024) whereas the paperwork emailed earlier this week showed 10/09/2024
@Jinjin Once again thank you for an absolute blast with the pre order thread. this is my 2nd full year involved and I have loved every minute.

Well I took the plunge and set my new phone up from scratch.

after carefully applying the screen protector to the pristine phone and whacking it straight into the esr clear case (which I’ve decided I do not like at all and will be replacing it with an Apple leather case in the ink colour).

Did my Vodafone esim Transfer which took a nerve wracking 10 mins to come through and started the long process of downloading and activating banking and authenticator apps and everything else, pairing my watch and adding email accounts I was finally able to reset my old iPhone 12 pro and pass it to my daughter when she came home so that’s 2 happy bods today.

The new phone is so much faster than my old one and battery seems to be lasting very well.

Hope everyone is happy with their choices and I will see you for the countdown to AirPods Pro 2 and Watch Ultra delivery day next week. :D

I've signed into Lloyds but still got Chase, Capital One x2 cards to go...
Don't get me started with Chase, wanted a photo of my passport then a photo of me and they'll get back to me in 15 mins.

Stuck on the phone to Virgin now as stupidly the app is registered to an old mobile number that I dont have so cant add it to apple pay - schoolboy error. 20 mins been on hold.
